Lydia's POV

"Are you serious? Wade is the father of your baby and you say yes to Mason?" I shake my head, "I still thought Mason was the father when he proposed, and Wade was leaving, I didn't want to stop that. I wanted Leo to know I was happy or else he wouldn't have left me."

She looks as if she understands before glaring at me, "Where's the assassin? There's the cold blooded super assassin?" I think she would've held Mason at the balls and tell him straight up that she wasn't going to marry Mason because she's in love with the man who is drifting away as we speak. And then she would've swam across the damn Pacific Ocean just to tell him that she was holding his child and that he better be ready for child support, and pawn the ring for money for the baby." Wow she knew me well over the years, and I was in awe of her at the moment. Did she really think that was me? At one point, maybe so. But...not anymore.

"I'm no longer with Adam, I belong with a new pack, you belong to Wade and this baby is his. I don't know what could be holding you back besides you darling. Take what is yours, don't let this wolf stop you. I'm not saying that Mason is the bad guy, but he's a nice guy who's been through so much. So take him out of his misery,"

"With a blow to the neck?" She shakes her head laughing a little, "No with your words." Turning around I see the boat was gone, "It's too late I can't reach him Shay." She holds my shoulder, "Don't worry I got you, go speak to Mason first." I nod racing away trying to find him.

I had finished packing my things when I saw a picture of Mia and I, we were in our cute bikinis looking sexy as hell. It was a college photo, she was dating Thomas but he wasn't in the picture. It was just Mia and I, she had been there for me since ever. And I needed to do this for her. I needed to see her, and have her be an apart of this baby's life.

That was my vow to this baby,

"I heard you were looking for me? Is there something wrong with the baby?" Hold him by the balls huh Sh'lera? I turn around so fast I heard my hair whip in the air, my hands were planted on my hips and I had a certain fierceness with me right now.

"I'm carrying Wade's baby and I'm engaged to you," Was all I said for Mason to close the door behind him. He comes a little closer, "What did you just say?" I didn't repeat myself. Instead I said something else, rather did something else. I threw the ring at him,

"But I thought-"

"You were wrong," I whisper moving aside him but he grabs my wrist. I send a blade into his side and run out the door. Bags in tow, he roars behind me. I wasn't scared just trying to get through these halls and into the elevator. Nope bad choice, he'll be waiting for me at the bottom.

Railing will be quick and just like that I make the railing and slide down, a little too fast when I come to the bottom and nearly fall. But I caught myself, "Help!" I screamed more than terrified, that was just to get me further ahead as wolves block him from me.

I see that it is working, and I finally slow down as I make it to the shore line where I see Sh'lera transform into her sandy wolf, she dives within the sand before howling in pleasure. She walks over to me, and I told her that I'm back. "I whooped ass, but he's chasing me so can we hurry and do this please." But she frowns, "How did you tell him,"

"I told him that Wade was the father and that I don't want to be engaged to you. And I threw the ring at him. And then I stabbed him after he grabbed my wrist." She looked worried, "Oh he's not going to take that well Lydia, you were supposed to be civil and care about his feelings and help him move on. Wolves are different from humans, we need TLC, not the motive to rip off a bandage quickly." Nerves were bundling me up inside.
