Chapter 2
"That's what I'm here for,"
Sh’lera’s POV
I made my way to the chaos and saw Belle and Blake crying over Damien. “I tried to heal him mama but nothing was working,” Belle cried, I kissed her fore head and went to see Damien. He was a bloody mess, scars all over his body most to the face.
I clamed my racing heart, before Violet left. I wanted to give her a part of me; I gave her my Alpha strength. I felt weaker than ever. I held Damien’s beaten face and concentrated.
Seeing my hands glow and his face healing quickly, my hands went from glowing to a wrinkled mess. I winced at the pain, “Mom’s taking the pain away,” Belle whispered to Blake.
“Incoming!” Blake alerted, and everything just went up in flames. I turned to my right and saw Roxy as her human form but holding fire in her hands. Her hair was super long and on fire as well.
I smiled at her when she nodded, taking down the rest of the Zombies. I ripped away from Damien and he jolted upwards swinging. Belle and Blake took their chance and held him down.
I backed away and sat down on a rock, wiping away the sweat. “Hey watch out!” Someone yelled when I looked up a tree was being hurdled my way. I was too late; I was pushed out of the way and was covered from the explosion.
“Is she alright?” The kids asked who saved me, speak of the devil it was Mason. “I think so are you alright Sh’lera?” He asked and I was speechless he came all this way to save me.
“I’m fine,” I said bushing myself off and moving away from him with my kids and joining the fight with them.

Mason’s POV
I saw them whooping ass and taking names. I knew Blake had powers along with Belle. But Roxy and Sh’lera were the only two left, and the seemed to be struggling with the powers they did have. Someone needed to put a barrier of trees there, lit them on fire and mold it into a wall. But I guess I spoke too soon when Sh’lera made the dirt rise and she threw it at the zombies. Then Roxy lit it on fire and it was like a title wave washing the zombies away.
The pack cheered and everyone was happy, I knew I was. Really I couldn’t wait to see Sh’lera back with me, I just had to expose Adam, and he wasn’t all that great to her. They were a couple and couples have issues and I just had to find out the right one.
I already tried the cheating thing, “Hey get these people back!” Sh’lera screamed and I grabbed some wounded people and didn’t stop till I made it to the pack hospital house.
So many memories,
“Mason I’ve died and gone to heaven to see you helping the pack,” Jean winked and I smirked at her. “Well when my woman needs me, I deliver.” Her mouth drops,
“You finally worn down Sh’lera?” I shook my head, “No, I saved her at the attack.”
She signed some papers and orders some patients around, “So you are still hanging on in the balance of trying to get her back,” I glared at her, she giggled. It wasn’t all that funny.
“Yea and I tried the cheating thing and it back fired, I need your help.”
“Did you get what I wanted?” She whispered and I reached in my pocket and slide it over the counter. She cleared her throat and peeked inside and smiled brightly, but then went glum. “This is only half,”
“You’ll get the rest when you help me.” I winked at her and she stuck her tongue out at me. “Do you have a deal?” I asked and she nodded taking my hand and we shook.
“The Revenge of the Rejected is in motion,” An evil wicked smirk spread across her lips. I looked around and leaned against the counter, “So who rejected who 7, 8 years ago?” Her smile faltered to a mean scowl, “We broke it off respectfully, at the time I was dating Tyler who I thought loved me but it was never meant to be. Now I have you,”
“No Sh’lera does,” And with that I turn and walk away.
Now all I have to do is plan out something that’s bullet proof.

Jean’s POV
It was 7 after, “Okay Kim I’m off, going home.”
“Bye girl,” Kim said waving good bye still at the counter putting away files, I packed my things and exited the building. I walked around the star lit night and wished I was strolling around with my mate.
That’s right; Adam was all I thought since I came back. Mason is just my ticket there. I was going to have Adam to myself. I finally made it to the apartment complex. “Rent!” The old lady yelled and I flipped her off and walked into the lobby. I checked in and went to the elevator. I was living on the 6th floor; I had a pretty good view.
Finally getting the door open I kicked off my heels and leaned against the door tired as ever. All this planning and scheming with Mason and then holding down 3 jobs is tough.
I saw a meal on the counter and smiled to myself, I padded my way across the wooden panel over to the kitchen title and went over to the drawer and got a fork, and I put the meal in the microwave and then waited. “You’re finally here, I was getting worried,”
I turned and smiled, “I’m glad my presence means something in this pack,”
“Oh but it always means something to me,” And he pulls me into him and presses his lips against mine. I kiss him back; he slowly deepens the kiss and brushes his lips against my collar bone. “I have an itch, could you help me out?”
“That’s what I’m here for,” I panted and he pulls me down the hallway,
