Chapter 18

Sh'lera's POV

I jolt upward, "Oh I'm not gonna get any sleep at this rate," I breathed talking to myself wiping the sweat off my head. I took a few seconds to calm myself down,

Just a dream, It was just another dream. "God it's like he can just have his way with me,"

I looked over and saw my clock, it was 6:30. It's time to get up and go to this rehearsal, let's do this thing! Honestly, I don't know why Jess wanted it to damn early but whatever. I didn't mind all that much,

As the morning moved on things were more settled, I got my things and left my room around 7: 15 and met up with Mason. "How has Italy treated you?" I thought it was silly how he asked me because he was 90 percent present in the week I've been here.

"Mason I just thought of something, why would you tell my kids your the father? I thought we-"

"I never said anything about that to them,"

"Well they did say you were drunk-"

"I don't drink, when we were at that club I was drinking water." I looked deep within his soul and knew my eyes were glowing. He was telling the truth, he didn't tell my kids and was drinking water.

"Then why-who-Jean!" I gritted through my teeth, stormed into the elevator when the doors opened. "Sh'lera what are you thinking about doing now?" Pressing those damn buttons, I was livid.

"I'm about whoop her sneaky ass! When you mess with my kids it's over!" I growled and I felt his fear, and I mean fear for Jean that she survives my wrath!

A few hours later...

I subsided the plan to whoop Jean's ass for another time because I had to be fully alert for this rehearsal for the wedding. "Okay I got pairs! Roxy your with Noah's friend Daniel..." Jess announced and I zoned her out.

I looked around and saw everyone looking around and no one was organized, Roxy was calm and I made sure to look out for Xavier, I knew he was a groomsmen. I saw Regina who was completely different, her black hair was gone and replaced with blonde locks.

"Oh and Sh'lera..." Jess said walking over to me with a uneasy face. "What's wrong?"

"It's either Xavier or Adam-"

"Adam,"

She nods writing it down, she smiled when she looked up and turned and waved Adam over. I casually looked away and rolled my eyes. Oh don't lose it here, keep it together Sh'lera.

"You two will go after Regina and Xavier, and then after you guys will be Roxy and Daniel." She ordered and we went to the lobby in the front of the church with the others and waited. I didn't speak a word to Adam. Mason entered the room and handed me the heels.

That's when I realized I didn't have them on my feet, "You're welcome," He smiles and looks at Adam. I ignore the air tension and struggle to put on the heels, Mason holds out his hand and I take it and slip into the heels.

He grabs my shoes and leaves smoothly, "Seems you two are hitting it off,"

"He isn't the only thing I've been hitting," I muttered, "What?"

"Nothing, just get ready it almost our turn," I whisper moving behind Regina and Xavier. I heard Adam sigh, "Sh'lera I'm sorry about Belle I should've been more supportive and understanding."

"Thank you,"

I felt his eyes on me but I was focusing on Roxy and Daniel, they looped arms and walked out. We walked after them and waited our cue. "I guess I deserve that," He mutters, I ignored him.

He opens his arm so I loop my arm around his and we walk in sync, touching him and being this close was a rush so strong it made me dizzy. Adam tightened his grip steadying me some and I began to see more clearly.

It was clear that the sparks were still strong, it was a different type of spark but a spark that only mates could have. That night when I was 18 with Mason that was a mate spark and that was the same thing I felt with Adam in this moment.

He stiffened next to me, he felt it as well. We looked at each other and the world stopped, his eyes glowed red as mine glowed golden,

"Mate,"

We parted ways and I stood behind Regina while Adam stood behind Daniel. The rest of the rehearsal was boring to keep it entertaining Adam and I kept sneaking in glances as if we were high school sweethearts.

It was an innocent game of love that washed away all the pain I felt, at the moment I was in love with Adam and no one could tell me different, I was far too gone.

Roxy's POV

After the wedding rehearsal the last I saw of Sh'lera is when she was sneaking off with Adam, hopefully to talk and make up and everything will be good and the pack wouldn't suffer through it.

But with me I was still trying to avoid Xavier, of course he didn't know Blake was my mate. But what he did know was that I am a virgin, and my promise was to save up for Blake.

Speaking of Blake that's what I was going to do at the moment, I was walking back to the hotel into the lobby when I smelled his scent. He was close good, maybe a simple conversation with him that would lighten my day!

I turned the corner and stop, I saw him kissing another girl. I was crushed, my hand went up to my chest as if to stop it from beating so fast in fear my heart might burst. My mother hand covered my mouth to keep my wolf from wailing, moaning, whining, screaming, crying you name it.

He was too young to understand, he wasn't in the looking for mate stage. I couldn't let him see me like this if he were to turn around. How would I even explain this to him? How would I move on from this? I know he won't mean this but still it hurts so much,

I slowly move backwards and don't stop until they are out of my sight, I turn around and take a few steps before stopping to inhale and to calm my nerves. I felt like dying at the moment, I wanted to shift and break something in half, I wanted to claw at myself and bleed to death.

I needed to cause someone pain, "Hey Virgin Roxy, you look tense." Xavier said behind me.

A small wicked evil smirk curled up upon my lips, bingo.
