Chapter 9

After having that astounding moment of triumph, Shadow and Eggman took some of us to a nearby building where there were people already waiting to find something in this building. "Hey Noir! I need your help!" Shadow shouted. "Hey, Shadow! It's good to see you! Whatcha need?" he greeted. "I need some weapons, major firepower. Something for everyone, I'm gonna need a lot of it too!" he told him. "Alright then! I've got just what you need!" Noir told us and he clicked a button on the desk. That's when a few shelves rotated, showing off multiple weapons, tools, and smaller things that I had no idea what they were. "Everything you could possibly need is up here! So watcha want?" Noir asked us. "We'll take everything you've got on that shelf. Hopefully, we've got enough coins and points to pay." Dr. Eggman told him and both of them pulled up some weird card and typed something into it.

"Just take it, whatever we can't pay, we'll pay later." Shadow said proudly. Noir could tell something was up. He nodded his head and took both the cards that they had. Noir swiped them both from a machine and smiled a little bit. He typed a few things before I saw the weapons shrink and their cards glow up. "There you go! Don't even worry about it. I've got you guys this time." Noir reassured. We nodded and thanked him, taking all the supplies we needed, then loading them into a vehicle Eggman brought along with us. "If you don't mind me asking, what are you using all this firepower for?" Noir asked us. I wasn't sure what to say to him knowing he could report us, but thankfully, these two knew what to say. "Giveaway, we're going to see who might want these for profit for the upcoming sporting games coming up." Eggman said in response. "Well, I suppose you'll have a lot to work with! Good luck you guys!" Noir replied before walking out the door.

I sighed in relief knowing there was still hope for us to win this war. Once we hopped into the huge truck, we drove cautiously across the streets and pathways, loops and curves, and zigs and zags. "I think I'm going to be sick!" I gagged as I felt my stomach flipping and gurgling. "Don't do it in my truck. Or else you're cleaning it up!" Shadow warned me. I decided I'd have to hold it together because I really didn't want to make these two mad as we were forming a plan to allow everyone to get what they desired.

A few more swerve later and we finally made it back to a secret underground base. "Alright Derrick, let's get all of this unloaded." Shadow said to me and I began to help grab weapons and pass them out to those who needed them. Many were just trying to figure out how to work it and practice learning how to handle it.

That's when I also noticed other gadgets being made by Tails who was working hard. I knew some wouldn't need many weapons since some of them actually had real powers. But you never know what was going to happen. I know I don't know what to expect. Hopefully, they would explain some things to me before we went out there into the battlefield. I saw all of them just preparing, stretching, testing their reflexes. "Alright, guys, we need to start up a plan for this course of action. What else can you guys tell me about this guy?" I announced, taking a seat on a bucket near a table. "The Code Master can manipulate any of us to his ability. We can't get too close to his motherboard or else he'll delete us. But he can still do anything to us from a minor distance." Monika told me. "That's good! That might help me out. So, do you know any of his weaknesses?" I asked. "Well, he does have a tendency to get rid of any water that comes anywhere close to his base. We think it's because technology and water don't mix." Sonic replied.

"Ha! We'll make sure to hide some within any weapons! Now that we've got that figured out how to possibly stop him, do you know how we can get into wherever we need to go?" I asked them. "Hmm. If me and Luigi can somehow manage to get close to the building, we could possibly convince Wario and Waluigi to let us inside in different ways. That is if we can a-get to the giant tower of the Coding Master." Mario told me. "Why? What's by the tower?" I asked. "It's what we call the "Scary Mary's" in our world. Mainly because that's where all the other horror characters live. Plus they claim they're related to Bloody Mary but, that's obviously unrealistic. But I've only been there a few times, Bendy, Slender, and Baldi might have a better chance of us through there." Cuphead explained to us.
