"NOOOO!" The land around us began to crumble. The tower began to break into a billion pieces. Binary codes began to litter the entire room. "WHAT HAVE YOU DONE!" he shrieked. "I knew resetting the whole place normally wouldn't do anything other than bring you back. So, with a little help from Monika, I made sure that when I reset the place, you wouldn't come back with it!"

Then he began laughing evilly. "It won't matter! The damage is already done! Your friends are already gone. Permanently. Even if they could come back, their memories would be lost forever!"

"Encontre my friend! Thanks to Eggman," I explained, pulling out a flash drive. "I already knew that not only would they come back, but all their memories would too! To think that none of this would've happened if I hadn't mentioned it to them. To think that humans are actually brighter! Sometimes."

"L-Look we can still talk about this! I can change! Just like everyone else here! Right?"

"You should've thought about that sooner. This universe doesn't need a perfectionist around here."

"What is it about you that makes you want to help someone else when you can barely help yourself?!" I thought about it hard. Thinking back to all the fun times I've had while I was trapped here. Despite it being scary, odd, and definitely someplace I don't wanna mess with... it was the friends and adventures I made along the way. "I guess... I guess you could say it was the citizens that live here who make it worthwhile. The small things that help make life better! Something you clearly didn't see..." He tried to stand up and approach me. But this is where things were going to end for this Code Master.

"Eevee, use Quick Attack to push him off this ledge!" I commanded. With her strength and courage, she shoved him off the ledge. We both watched as he just fell to his death, breaking into million pieces all the way down from what I assumed was a 1,000-foot tall building. "Wow, must be a sad life." I sighed. "Eevee vee Veeee." Eevee said. Before we could do anything else, the ground below us began to crumble. I wasn't sure what to do! This whole place was about to come down and there was no one else with us to try and help us! "Veee!" she cried. I knew Eevee would definitely survive this, but it's a shame I wouldn't. "Get out safely while you can!" I urged.

She hesitated, unsure of what to do. "Despite that Code Master being so... everything! He was right! You're good at running! Use those legs to get out of here!" I urged. Still, there was no movement. I was worried that she may never leave.

*Cracckkk*

Oh crap.

A huge piece of the tower began to fall towards me. There wasn't any time to move. At least they'll be free now...I closed my eyes, waiting for it to crush me to bits. "Vee!" a cry shouted. I barely opened my eyes as I was pushed forward. It took me off guard. "Woah!" I gasped, looking at a transformed Leafeon. "Y-You evolved on your own!" I realized. "Vee!"

She tried her best to left me off with flight and we tried to avoid everything that continued to fall. She was good at dodging everything that flew near us. But it was still scary to see everything fall. Suddenly, she just changed back to a normal Eevee.

"Woah, what happened?!" I cried. "Vee! Vee vee!" "I don't understand, but whatever it is, it'll be okay!" There was only one opening in the building we were in. And there was only one option if we were going to survive this building's collapse. "C'mere girl!" I urged. Gladly, she jumped in my arms and looked at how high we were above. "Just hang on okay? I'm not going to let anything bad happen to us!" The whole building suddenly began to fall towards the ground, leaving us to fall wherever we were going.

I felt her small claws barely rip the shirt I was wearing. I tried to use most of my body to try and protect her from the long drop. When we stopped falling for one minute, I ran over to the opening and looked out at the drop. How high is this thing? I knew there was a chance I could die. But there was a reason I came. No matter the consequences, I made a promise and I intended to keep it.

"Hey, I knew we just met, but look... it was really nice meeting every single one of you. Just tell everyone that I hope everything can be better now..." Eevee still looked confused, but then we jumped out of the opening. "VEEEEEEEE!" she cried as we made our huge leap. "AHHH!" I shouted, seeing how high I had actually jumped.

As we headed towards the ground, I thought back to all my new friends I had made. My parents. And even the future that I never really got to explore.

It was all worth it.

Right before we hit the ground, I looked up at the sky where there was an opening. It sucked up the entire Code Master's tower, taking everything that was awful with him. I smiled, knowing the deed was done. I was more than happy that things would be better now. No more suffering for these guys! "GOOD LUCK EEVEE!" I shouted. Her eyes seemed so scared. "I'LL BE OKAY!"

I closed my eyes, bracing for impact. Then everything went black.
