Chapter 31- "HUHH??!?"

(Tendou's POV)~

"Everyone's always getting in our way!! UGH!" (Y/N) groans beside me on the couch.

"Wait, this happens to you on a regular basis?" Semi asks from the floor.

"Now that I think of it... This has been quite an intense year so far." I laugh. (Y/N) continues to dab a cloth on my face where I was punched.

"Imma mess that guy up." Ushijima says, startling everyone. He looked genuinely mad. I wouldn't be surprised if he murdered someone.

"AWWWW USHI USHI CARESSSSSS!" I smile at him. He rolls his eyes and looks away.

"So what movie should we watch?" (Y/N) asks. We were all pulled into her living room. Me and her on the couch, Semi and Ushi on the floor with pillows and Tomoyo and Ali were in a fort they made.

Me and (y/n) exchange a look with huge grins.

"Uh, why is (y/n) doing that cat-like grin? It's scaring me." Ali says, popping her head out of the fort.

"What cat-like grin?" I ask. Everyone gives me a weird look.

"It's that thing you always do... you know..." Semi says.

"Uhhhhh no?" I grin even bigger just to weird them out.

"Highschool musical. We're gonna watch Highschool musical." Tomoyo butts into the conversation. (Y/N) squeals and jumps to Ali as they fangirl.

Semi gets up and throws a bunch of blankets at everyone.

"Thank you Se-mi!" I smile wide.

"You're creepy." He says, trying to hide his smile.

"You haven't noticed?" I laugh. Everyone nods and laughs too. Once the movie starts Ushi falls asleep instantly, leaning on Semi's shoulder. Semi tries to push his off but gives up.

Tomoyo had taken a spot beside me since (y/n) and Ali were squealing in his ears.

"They're freaks of nature." He whispers to me, side eyeing the girls.

"This movie's the shit man." I whisper back, shoving popcorn into my mouth. "For example, Gabriella is a complex character that has many meanings. Life lessons can be learned." I whisper, not taking my eyes off the movie.
I finally look over to him and he's gone back to Ali's side giving me a disgusted look. I shrug at him and continue to watch the movie.

(Y/N) and Ali break out into song by the end. Completely loosing it. I join in of course.

"HEY. SHHHHHH." Semi says harshly, pointing to Ushijima who's snoring.

"Aw like an old married couple. So cute." I put my hands together and give him puppy eyes. He flips me off and moves his gaze back to the movie.

The credits start and Ali and (y/n) were left breathless.

"Work of art. Truly amazing." Ali says.
"Chef's freaking kiss." (Y/N) adds.

"I'm going to bed." Semi rolls his eyes, finally getting Ushi off him.

"There's a guest bedroom down the hall. My couch folds out too." (Y/N) says, getting up with the empty popcorn bowl and moving to the kitchen.

"So I guess me and Ushi can share the guest bedroom." Semi says, pulling Ushijima by the leg towards the room.

"Ooohhhhhhhh that's pretty sus." Ali laughs, basically drooling. She must be one of those weebs.

"Shut it. He's sleeping on the floor." Semi answers with a straight face.

"I'm gonna be with (y/n) so you guys can use the fold out couch. Is that okay?" I ask, taking the cushions off the couch and folding it out.

Tomoyo's face goes bright red.

"Sounds good." Ali says, not even thinking. She throws her self onto the bed. Tomoyo's still frozen.

"You coming?" Ali asks, tapping the bed beside her. Tomoyo visibly gulps.
"Y-yeah." He gives me a scared look and I give him a thumbs up.

Me and (y/n) go up to her room.

"I can't believe winter break's almost over." She sighs.

"Yeah i know. It sucks." I answer, taking off my shirt.

"Wow, why you stripping?" She asks with a grin.

"Uh, it's just too hot...?" I answer laughing, getting under the blankets.
She giggles to herself. I smile at the sight of her giggling.
I turn off the light and we lay beside each other in silence.

"Sorry. About your dad." I break the silence.

"Don't be. He's... well I don't know what I expected." She answers, back to me.

"You're strong." I say, rubbing her back.

"Hell yeah I am. I'm not gonna let that ruin today." She turns around.

"Today was really fun." I smile.

"We should do it again sometime." She has a sparkle in her eye. I can tell she likes being in a bigger group of friends.

"Yeah. We should." I answer. I like being with a bigger group too. We stare at the ceiling for a bit.

"You know what we should do?" I turn to her.

"Hm?" She answers, eyes closed.

"We should get married." I whisper. She turns to me with wide eyes.

"HUH!!??" She yells, getting a "SHH" from Semi across the hall.

To be completely honest, I wasn't sure if, I myself, was joking or not. I mean, I can't imagine myself living without (y/n).

"Are you serious?" She whispers, her shocked face had turned calmer.

"I don't know." I grin at her. "If I was what would you say?"
She takes a moment to think.

"I think I'd say yes." She turns to me. I look up to the ceiling.

"I'll keep that in mind then." I smile and look back at her.
She nods with a huge smile on her face, pulling the blanket up to her nose. She looked thrilled.

I inch closer to her and wrap my arms around her. She nuzzles her face into my neck and I smile.

Life can't get better than this.
