Ari continued to read the information the was provided to him, the next sentence he read surprised him. It was information about the underworld. Something he had no idea existed or was as big as it was originally.

"In this world of ours, there is a dark underworld to it that many people do not know of. This world is not as it seems at first glance but there is a darker undertone to everything going on, in some way the dark underworld has a hand in the going's on in the world of light, honestly the world of light is not so pure as you are lead to believe.

"In the underworld, there are many different groups and organizations that conduct in such ways that are opposed by the world of light. In the dark underworld that exists in this world that is deeply hidden. It is said to stay true to its name and have many groups and markets open in the ancient tunnels with underground passageways. But unless you are apart of that world you would never be able to find the entrance to one of these tunnels or even a base.

"Weapons, forbidden knowledge, illegal medicine, mercenaries, advanced technology, cutting edge science. The dark underworld could be considered the peak of human capabilities, but it's also ripe with darkness with its own set of rules such as survival of the strong... killing is a fair gain in the underworld.

"Those some might have some ideas that ring with the 'light world' or surface as some would call it when getting down to it everyone that exists in the dark world has broken many laws in the light world. Some more than others.

"At one point there were rumours of a group of scientists that wore working on the elixir. The elixir is something that would make it possible for the drinker to surpass human limitations performing many feats similar to that of the clans or legend.

"The supposed group that made it the head of it was attacked and murder killing the leader's family. Everyone else in the group involved disappeared. The elixir is something coveted by many in the dark world as those that survive are the strong. So an elixir that made getting stronger than others was possible surpassing human limitations. It was something everyone wanted. There are still many people still attempting to make the supposed elixir.

"How things work in the dark world is that like-minded people joined together forming a group. These groups could also be akin to light world gang, there are 2 ways to join a group join (by force or willing) or be born into a family apart of the group.

"With these groups are formed they create 'territories' and between-group there is a silent agreement not to cause trouble for other groups in their territory unless looking for a war. Groups dealing with a multitude of things most of which would be considered illegal in the light world.

"However there are two groups that stand out above the rest that none in the underworld wish to cross as they act as the two major figures in the underworld. The ones essentially making most of the rules and ruling most of the other groups in the dark world, they are the mercenary groups of the Yano and the Marione, though at this time the status of the Marione is questionable.

"The two mercenary groups have that largest outreach across the world with powerful members and people backing them, they are however bitter enemies at this time often fighting with one another. At this time in the underworld, there are 3 factions due to this, some groups follow, work and/or back the Yano, or they will have ties with the main Marione branch, or they remain neutral and play both sides making sure not to get caught in the crosshairs between the two.

"These two groups are said to be of the oldest and longest-running groups in the underworld, with strength gained over time. The two have over time taken in smaller groups to become another part of them, but the main leader being the one running them. With this in the underworld, it is currently to work, join, or stay out of their way is how things are done.

"The Yano is said to be the more civilized out of the two, often insuring the reasons and being very particular of the jobs taken, though that doesn't by any means mean they get fewer jobs. It is unsure how but the group always manages to find something whether it's truth or lie and ensuring the completion of such a job taken on and accepted. No one knows where the base is located or much about the group aside from close allies.

"The Marione, on the other hand, takes every job that comes their way however things tend to turn brutal with their jobs. In more recent years not much has been heard of the Marione, rumours in the underworld say that the Yano managed to deal a big blow to Marione and they have been defeated or are in hiding at the moment waiting to be able to return even stronger than before. Like the Yano it's unknown where the Marione's bases are located or anything else about it.

"When thinking of the two groups the reason they are bitter enemies are unknown, no one in the underworld has a real answer towards their bitterness with one another, but they are sure that it has caused more than one major incident for the world of light when a battle breaks out in what seems to be their never-ending war. Some rumours have suggested that the original creators of the mercenary groups once knew each other and had a bitter falling out, and their whole war is the result of this ancient feud."

'Those are the groups that father told me about. The one that Roy said he was apart of is the Yano, and according to this, they are the better dark organization to deal with if you ever forced to work with them. I guess that is a good thing.'
