"R-Roxanne!" they gasped shocked as the lights turned on and revealed my identity to them.
"Let me go!" I hissed getting my arm out of his grasp. "Vincent, were you the one that hired me?" I asked, turning to Mr. Luo, who is also known as Vincent.
"Hah! Your work sure is as good as it states. But yes I was." he answered as he crossed his arms looking at me.
"Why, exactly?"
"A threat against me and my families life since I didn't agree with what they asked."
"They're stronger than I thought than."
"You sure are a much better actor then I thought. I thought that you were that young."
"I am stupid."
"What?" he questioned. I nodded an gave him an exasperated look crossing my arms. He looked at me shocked than his face slightly paled as I know he probably has made the connection.
"How! No, what is going on?!" Ari exclaimed looking at me.
"I can answer that." a male voice huffed as footsteps came closer.
"Boss. Sir, I'm pleased that you have arrived... sadly my cover got blown." I greeted them with a bow.
"Roxanne, good job, it doesn't matter that your covers been blown to them. You are still good," Icarus told me as he patted my head. "Thank you, Sir." I thanked him, pleased with the head pat.
"Are you ready Roxanne?" Dark asked arms crossed as he looked at me. "Yes, Boss," I answered with a nod.
"Roxanne was hired to protect you, which is what she did just now." Dark sighed, answering Ari's question as I went an grabbed my bag.
"It's time I have the things I need. Sir, I'll see you later." I sighed with a slight nod.
"Yes. Be safe, alright."
"When am I not?" I asked sarcastically with a smirk.
"Wait, what?!" the Luo exclaimed confused what was going on.
"W-we still need you though! They are still after us." Tara (Mrs. Luo) exclaimed, not fully understanding what is going on.
"Yeah whose going to protect us from that monster and whatever else is after us!" Ari exclaimed shocked, so I smirked.
"Alright find out about me, what my biggest secret is if you want to find me... maybe try asking your father for the truth first of all you might find something out that way." I laughed turning around, leaving the house along with Icarus after them holding my bag across my shoulder and some papers in my hand. Very much well aware that task was impossible without aid, and planned a little something to keep them distracted as I was gone.
My friends Alex, Stan, and Roy were out there waiting for me. "I leave them to you. Be careful I'm sure that Chimera will show up again. So just hold out till I'm done." I sighed, handing over the papers to Alex. "Alright." Alex answered, taking the documents from my hand.
"Leave it to me. We can handle it." Roy laughed, looking at me.
"I'm not worried about that per se just be careful things are much more problematic then before... don't hold back if you can help it okay I don't know what I'd do if I lost you too," I muttered looking at them, before looking at the papers. "Keep those handy I sure they won't stop, at least one or two won't. But they have information that could keep them busy while I'm gone, the first page will explain what you are to do with them and when." I told Roy and Alex.
"Hey Red let those wounds heal a little more before you do anything stupid." Stan huffed as he tapped my arm.
"They've almost healed already." I sighed with a shrug of my shoulders.
"You know what I mean stupid."
"Yes, yes. Take care of Layla alright and be careful as well. If they went this far to try and get to them, they are sure to do more to try and weaken the pressure."
"Come on. We've got a long drive and a lot of work to do in so little time." Dark exclaimed as he stood by his car. I nodded before hugging Alex and Stan. I looked at Ari he held out his hand.
I wrapped my arms around him. "I don't want to lose you again, Roy," I whispered in his ear as I held to him tightly.
"You're not going to lose me."
"That's not what I mean."
He held on to me tightly; I clenched my fist as I held the fabric of his shirt in my hand. "Things will be different when I come back... really different. Since they know things will get more dangerous. I'm just not ready." I muttered burying my face in his chest.
"You are more than ready Roxie. She thinks so as well the second ear piercings prove it."
"How do you know what they mean."
"Does that matter right now? Go on Rox's you know what to do."
I sighed as I let my arms fall and I try to pull away, but Roy wouldn't let me go. "I can't do anything if you don't let go." I huffed looking up at him.
"I can't let you go. I might just go with you."
"Hahaha! You know that's not possible."
"Maybe not..."
Roy then leaned down before whispering something in my ear, causing my face to flush red before letting me go. I then raced over to the car where Dark was waiting. "Everything alright?" Dark asked.
"Y-yeah! Everything peachy. Let's go, alright!" I exclaimed before getting into Dark's car, closing the door. Dark looked at me oddly before walking over to the others. Dark spoke with them for a bit I looked at them slightly worried, excited, and nervous. I then saw Roy look at me and smirk and I could feel my face heat up, and I quickly looked away. 'That idiot.'
I heard the driver side door open. "Roxie I'm serious! You'll see!" Roy yelled, causing my face to heat up even more. Dark glanced at me, and I knew Stan and Alex were probably smirking. Dark then climbed in closed the door and started the car.
I eventually gathered my courage opened my window and stuck my head out. "You better be Roy! I'm going to hold you to it; I swear or so help me you're going to get it!" I yelled as I felt my face heat up before pulling my head back in and closing the window as we drove off.
