Once again, I was awoken by my dream, fire surrounded and blocked my way. I always wake up when the beam from the roof falls on me. I held the necklace that I always wear tightly in my hand.
I got dressed, put my cast's on then went downstairs. I grabbed a water bottle, filled it up, and grab some leftover meat, bread, and vegetables. I put on my shoes and put things in my bag. I open the door I put down a piece of paper then left quietly close the door behind me. The house is more on the outskirts of the city with nature; it had one to two story homes in the area, but it's not that far out either. Really the house is in the middle, close to the downtown area but also where you see trees, nature, and homes not apartment buildings. I went into this playground set at the bottom of it was a small entrance, but inside it was relatively large. It's still early in the morning at daybreak is in 20 minutes. I slipped through the doorway before I heard the sound of growling turning my head I saw a growling wolf-like animal that was in front of me. "Brandi! Heel!" I snapped it froze in place when I spoke.
"Come." I sighed, it walked over to me tail wagging as it hurried over to me, and when it got over to me, it began licking me. "Haha! S-stop it! Sit down. Aaaahhh! That's a good girl!" I praised her as Brandi sat down in front of me. "Did you miss me, girl? I missed you." I told her as I scratched her behind her ears. I went into the corner and grabbed two dishes before I pulled out the food and water that I brought. I broke up the food putting it in one bowl and poured the water into the other.
"Are you a hungry puppy?" I asked as she did a little footsie dance. "I bet you are!" I laughed, as I patted her head before she began eating wolfing down eat bit her tags jingled every time she took a large bite of food or drink of water.
This is Brandi she's my dog if you haven't clued in, I've had her since I was very young. I don't know how she still looks so young. Honestly, you wouldn't believe we are not that far off in age. I looked over to see that Brandi was finished what I gave her, so I added more to her bowls. Alex brought her here a few days ago as I was having Alex watch her, but I still couldn't just leave her out here forever. I was planning on asking Icarus or Stan to attend to her till everything is dealt with.
After she was finished eating, the two of us played with one another for a little while. As the morning started to arrive, I knew I need to head back to the Luo's home before they notice I was gone so I filled the one dish with the last of the water before I was about to leave.
"See you later, girl. I got to get back before they get up." I sighed, picking up my bag. "Be good. Don't get caught an I'll see you later." I told her before I left the playground walking back to the Luo home.
"Hey, where were you?" Someone asked. I turned around to see it was Ari, which was a little odd for him to be up.
"Out," I wrote on a pad of paper.
"I know that but where."
"It doesn't matter to you. What are you doing up anyway?" He didn't answer, but I saw something flash in his eyes before he looked away. "Nightmare?" I wrote my question, but he didn't look at it, so I grabbed my shoes and threw them at him.
"Ow! What?!" He growled I pointed to my written question.
"Why do you care and you do know I am watching TV." He huffed very sharply as he pointed at the TV that was playing the news.
"Bitter are we? Why are you watching it anyway? It is just talking about the robbery last night." I wrote.
After a few hours, Ari drove himself, Dave, and I to school. The teacher gave me a test to do on stuff he has yet to teach the class taking the test me whenever part of what I said very literal. Ari was doing yesterday's test as I did this other one, so the teacher had the class do work on some questions from the book. Once again, the test didn't take me that long or was that difficult for me to complete. So I made a deal with the teacher find out my secret, and I will tell him why his test gives me no trouble, which he took me up on. I wasn't nervous at all as there was no way he was going to find anything out, without any help or allowance from me that is. But aside from that nothing unusual happened at school, so after I got home instead of going into the house I decided to go to the park and check up on Brandi, but when I got there, I was jumped.
