You love me? [HIATUS]

Chapter 18

After having that talk with Mina, Kirishima felt much better. They got up from the bench and headed towards the arcade, Mina grabbing Kirishima's arm to reassure him that she was by his side, always. They stopped in the pretzel kart that was in the middle of the mall, because Mina said that 'they needed something sweet after all of Kaminari's salt', Kirishima couldn't help laughing at that small remark. 

When they entered the colorful arcade, they made their way to the back, where the seating area was. The group always went there first to grab a smoothie. 

When they arrived they couldn't help but frown at the glaring between Kaminari and Bakugou. Jirou and Sero were obviously trying to ease the tension with lame jokes and snarky remarks. 

"Hi guys, sorry we took to long" Kirishima said, a nervous smile plastered on his face.  

"Don't worry about it" Jirou said, but the look in her eyes said 'thank god you arrived, I was about to die'

Bakugou moved to the side, leaving  a space for Kirishima to seat, but Kaminari did the same. Kirishima was torn. Bakugou was his boyfriend but Kaminari was his best friend... but they were fighting- and for a good reason, so he decided to seat beside Bakugou. The look that Kaminari gave him and Bakugou, made him question if he made the right choice but the way Bakugou placed a hand around his waist made the doubts go away. Mina sat beside Kaminari, making light conversation, so that it wouldn't be awkward. 

"I already ordered for you guys" Sero said

"Perfect, thanks Sero... you ordered strawberry for me right?" Mina said, a playful smirk never leaving her face. 

"Yeah, your pink hair reminds me that you love the strawberry flavor"

The smoothies arrived and there was a moment of silence when the group started drinking them. In that minute of silence, Kirishima couldn't help but to let his mind wonder and start thinking about if things were ever going to go back to normal. 

When they finished their smoothies they made their way to the machines and started to play. It was all going fine until Kaminari challenged Balugou to a one on one in air hockey. 

"Bakugou, want to go against me in air hockey?" Kaminari said, even though the line itself didn't hold any weight, the look in his eyes did. 

"Why?" Bakugou asked, a sharpness to his voice that couldn't be missed present.

" 'Cause why not? Are you going to chicken out because you are afraid of losing? Pussy" Kaminari said. The way he said it didn't seem like him at all. 

That's when Bakugou figured it out. He wasn't talking about air hockey at all, he was talking about Kirishima. He was telling Bakugou that he was going to fight back. He was telling Bakugou that Kirishima was his. He couldn't be more wrong. Bakugou thought. He was willing to do anything for Kirishima, he loved him. He wasn't going to let that Pikachu- wannabe have Kirishima if he could help it. 

"Sure, you're on"
