Todoroki's POV:

Sero made tantanmen for dinner. Bakugo was eager to try it immediately once he found out what exactly Sero had made.

"On a scale of one to ten, ten meaning Deku will cry, how spicy did you make it?" Bakugo had asked, almost excitedly.

Sero had laughed and said it was probably a solid 7 or 8.

Now, we're all eating together as some ask Bakugo some questions or bother him with other stuff. It's good seeing him like this. He throws snarky remarks or comments here and there.

People have runny nose and teary eyes from the food.

When Bakugo had tried it, he smirked and nodded at Sero in approval.

"Wish it was spicier, but at least Deku will cry."

I smile at the memory from not even half an hour ago. I do admit, it is spicy, but I've gotten used to spicy foods because of Bakugo, so I can handle it better than some other people in the class. Aoyama looks ready to run to the bathroom. Shoji is looking after him, but he looks worried.

Mina throws pieces of chives at Bakugo because it's really spicy, but Bakugo just catches as many as he can and adds them to his meal. He flips her off and she laughs, telling Kaminari and Kirishima who are making googly eyes at each other.

Bakugo has his foot right next to mine as he goes about, causing chaos by making fun of others. It makes me soft. He laughs and points at Uraraka who's eyes won't stop tearing up and she grumbles.

"They're just weaklings, right Sho?" Bakugo asks, barely turning his head to look at me as he laughs.

I smile at the nickname he used in front of the whole class. He doesn't even seem to notice he did.

I nod in agreement with him. "Yup."

"The dark tentacles of love have blinded you, Todoroki," Tokoyami says dramatically.

Iida scoffs at me. "You're just agreeing with him because he called you Sho," he accuses.

And what if I did?

"That's not true," I argue.

Bakugo then realizes that he called me Sho and his ears turn slightly pink.

"You assholes just can't handle a bit of spice. Look at Halfie over here, he's more than halfway done and he barely has any tears," Bakugo points out.

"Tch, well, yeah, of course he barely has any tears, you've been feeding him spicy foods, so now he's used to it," Mina complains.

She's got a point.

He huffs, crossing his arms as he sits back, defeated. Then he gets this smirk on his face and everyone freezes. Well, except me, I eat more of the tantanmen.

"Well, when I come back I'm making you guys eat something spicy once a week. Then you'll get used to it and you guys will be able to make me more spicy foods. It's a win-win," he grins.

Aoyama faints.

After everyone finishes, we stay at the table talking.

"So are you really only staying a month?" Jirou asks Bakugo.

He had allowed them to ask him some questions because 'it was the least he could do for being an asshole and he didn't want to owe them anything after this'.

"Depends. If I feel like the first month wasn't enough, I'll stay for two more weeks, and go from there," he answers quickly. He's been thinking about that ever since he decided he wanted to go to the hospital to get help.
