Chapter Thirty-Five

Todoroki's POV:

"Oh my god. That cat is so ugly," Mina says, grabbing the small ball of fur from me and squealing in excitement. "You. You are so damn cute," she tells the cat in a high pitched, baby voice. She rubs their nosed together and Sero next to her makes grabby hands. Mina reluctantly gives the cat to Sero. Midoriya just looks at it from afar. He definitely wants to hold it but he's waiting for everyone else to have a turn. He's shaking in his seat.

I take a bite of my food and watch everything. "So, weren't you gonna show us the cute Bakugo pictures and messages?" Jirou asks. I look over at her and smile widely before nodding and taking out my phone. Then I remember about the pictures from the carnival. I take out my wallet and then the picture before handing the strip of photos to Jirou. She takes it and looks at it. She smiles lightly and continues looking at it as she takes a sip of her drink.

"When was this? When you were switched?" She asks. I nod. "Yup." Midoriya turns around at that and so does everyone else. "Oo I wanna see that," Midoriya immediately says. I laugh and Jirou hands the pictures to Midoriya. The cat is then passed to Jirou and she happily takes it. "It looks like he fell on his face and it stayed pushed in," she laughs. She cradles it in her arms and continues eating her food, maneuvering he hand to make sure the cat doesn't try to reach up and take some. The cat meows every now and then, making everyone's heart melt. She's so cute, and I wonder what Bakugo is going to name her.

"Now show us the ones on your phone," Sero says. I laugh and go to my gallery, pulling up the photos. The latest picture of him is of him covering his face in a blush while reaching for the camera to stop me from taking more photos. "Just keep going right," I tell them, handing them the phone. Sero takes it from me quickly before Mina can beat him to it and she frowns. "Meanie," she says, crossing he arms over her chest. Sero sticks his tongue out at her like a 5 year old.

"Stop fighting or you'll both go to time out," Jirou scolds playfully. Both Mina and Sero throw their arms back and slouch in their chairs, groaning in annoyance like kids. Jirou just laughs and they start laughing too as they sit up straight. Midoriya just tries to get a peek of the pictures from Sero who has my phone.

"Okay, okay, we'll chill out," Sero says, starting to look through the photos. "There are some random pictures of stuff in between, but the last photo on Bakugo is the one of him in the school uniform with a dark red scarf on him. He looks cold and his nose is red," I tell them. Sero laughs at the amount of details I gave. Mina tried looking, but Sero is acting like a little kid still and is hiding the phone from her, leaning more towards Midoriya. Now Midoriya has a chance to see the photos.

I turn over to Jirou who's still cradling the cat who is snuggling into her. I look over to Mina and motion my head to Jirou. Mina nods and takes out her phone, snapping a quick photo of Jirou, taking a bite of her food with her right hand while holding the cat with her left. I smile and Mina laughs. Jirou looks at us and seed Mina with her phone out. She puts the pieces together in her head and groans as she leans back into her chair, slouching. She moved in a way that the cat wasn't disturbed at all. "You guys are taking pictures of me?" She asks all whiny. It's quite funny seeing her like this. In class she's usually serious and, well, just serious. Unless she's laughing at Kaminari.

"It was just one. You look adorable in it. You sure you don't want me to send it to a certain crea-" Mina gets interrupted with a chopstick to the face. My eyes widen at the sudden movement, and Mina gasps. "Don't you finish that fricking sentence or you'll be haunted by the other chopstick," Jirou threatens. Mina deadpans. "Really? What are you gonna do?" "Oh, I'll stick it somewhere," she says, getting up with the cat to get more chopsticks. The cat meows with the movement, but goes back to snuggling into her.
