Chapter Thirty-Seven

Katsuki's POV:

"Uhh what?" He asks, face flushed. A dumbass. That's what I am.

"Uh, you heard me," I try, faking confidence. He smiles and my eyes practically burn off at the brightness of it. It's brighter than my future. HA!

"Okay, then say it again," he says, smile still plastered on his face. I shove his face away and sigh heavily on the bed. He put some pressure on my hand with his face, but not enough to actually make me struggle. He finally let's up and I let my hand fall, a small smile on my face.

I kind of don't get myself. My mood changes quickly. I mean, my thoughts don't really change, not instantly anyway. They just change from wanting to die, to having warmth wash over me. Of course, I still feel like something is wrong with me, but I'm able to push those thoughts away. Sometimes I feel like the thoughts are wrong and that I deserve to be happy. That I don't deserve the horrible parents I got. That I'm just a kid.

There's a hand on my face and I look over at Halfie. He's rested on his elbow, lying on his side looking at me. There's a small smile on his face. "What?" I ask. He sighs happily. "You. You're just amazing. And beautiful. And talented. And so- agh I just love you Katsuki," he says.

I cover my face as I feel it heat up. I'm smiling like an idiot. "Tch shut it," I complain. He shifts and then I feel his lips on my neck. My eyes widen and I pull my hands away to look at him. He smirks. "I knew that would get you. I wanna see your face. You're so cute. Especially when you're all flustered. Oh, like right now," he says, running his hands across my cheek. Asshole.

I puff my cheeks and look away. Fine, too can play it that way. "Oh, noo, babe, look at me," he says, trying to turn my face to him. I fight it and he starts laughing. "You're gonna be like that? Really?" He asks, playful tone in his voice. I can't help the smile that shows up. He laughs and I groan, giving up. That asshole. I look at him and smile. I can't really help it. I mean, fuckin look at the guy. He's hot. And cute. But really dense sometimes.

Hmm.

I pull him into a hug and he lands on top of me. He let out a surprised gasp and tried his hardest to take some of his weight off the landing so he didn't hurt me. Damn, that asshole is considerate too.

I breathe hotly onto his neck and he gets goosebumps as he squirms. "Uh, Kat?" He asks, the nickname making me fall even more in love with him. "Yeah?" I ask, acting as if I don't know what I'm doing. "U- it's nothing," he says nervously. I smirk, knowing exactly what I'm doing. "Sho," I whisper, breath hitting his neck still. His arms tighten around me and I do the same. "Y-yeah?" I bend my neck a little more to the front and lick his. Just one line, from bottom to the top, right under his ear. He shivers and let's out a gasoline of surprise. "What are you doing?" He asks.

"Nothing."

"Liar, why are you doing this?"

"Cause you're a hot but cute and considerate asshole who cares about me and calls me cute and amazing even though I'm probably not those things. You genuinely think they're true though, so you're crazy. You asshole."

He laughs. I let out a breathy laugh, not really on purpose, but I'm glad I did cause Halfie squirms as the air hits his neck once again. "Sensitive here are we?" I ask, licking a stripe once again. "Katsuki," he warns. Hm, let's see where this goes.

He pulls away and looks em dead in the eye. His face is red and he looks confused. "You wanna do something again?" He asks switching from looking at my right eye to my left. He carresses right under my right eye. "It healed just fine," he says softly, running his thumb back and forth on the skin. I close my eyes and relax, and he runs his thumb over the eyelid. Suddenly he pulls away and then I feel soft, warm lips on my eyelid. "Tch, you missed," I whisper. I don't know why we're still doing that, but we are. He pulls back and laughs. I open my eyes to see his smile, and when I do, he's already looking at me. Of course, with a smile on his stupidly gorgeous face.
