The Crowned Enemies

Chapter 1: Y/N's POV

I laid on my bed, exhausted. I never enjoyed dancing but I had to do it nonetheless. I sat up from my bed and glanced towards the window. The trees' leaves danced in the wind. I decided to occupy my thoughts with something else. I put on my slippers and headed to the library.

As I made my way there, the wind roared as if it was trying to blow me away. I arrived at the library, my hair messed up from the wind outside, but combed it out with my hands quickly, fast enough before one of the maids made an attempt to brush out my hair in the weirdest way.

I shook my head to get the thought away out of my head. I went up the stairs and grabbed a book about birds. I opened it up, the drawings and pictures revived me.

I finished half of the books I picked up from the library and realized it was already 8pm. 

How'd it get so late?

I took my bath, it was very refreshing. I dried my hair out with a white towel and proceeded to put on my nightwear. I yawn in exhaustion. My eyelids got heavy and I fell fast asleep.

The next morning arrived, thankfully I don't have any dance practices today so I got free time on my hands. I got dressed in a small dress that reached my ankles along with flats and my parasol.

I went outside to the flower garden. While, I have a guard behind me making sure I didn't get caught in thorns. Thankfully, the flowers are evenly spaced out and makes enough room for two people to get through. I walk-ran to the fountain that was in the center of the flowers. I put my hand into the water and made me ease all my stress.

I noticed that father and mother were heading out together. I don't really see them going out together a lot, but one of the housewives told me..

"Your mother and father will only go out for a specific reason. That specific reason is if they found or are finding your heir. Your husband you'll become queen with."

My eyes widened at the fact that they were going out together.

"May I head to the top of the castle?" I say to the guard. He nodded and led me to the top of the castle which was very high.

I have a little fear of heights, but when it comes to the town overview, it's spectacular! The view is beautiful. I can see the town and the people. I saw the carriage leaving the front gate which probably had mother and father in it. 

I smiled and went back down to the garden area and rested. The day ended without too much going on, I hoped for this peacefulness to continue for the next few days.

Thank you very much for reading our first chapter of our first fanfiction we've posted on here!

I'll tell you how my chapters and stories work. 

Firstly, you might think this is a short chapter, and well it is. I prepare my work on Google Docs and I post it on here. This whole little chapter takes up a whole page in Google Docs since we work with font size 11. 

This might look rushed- which it kind is to be honest, we move pretty fast when writing stories so, if you have any ideas you want to share to make it somewhat longer, I'd appreciate it!

I'll make sure to make longer chapters for you to enjoy.
