The first thing I saw when I woke up was a suit. What is this? I just ignored the suit and got ready for what the day had to bring me. I know today won't be an easy day. Why'd I just think of that? That's because of the suit. It gave it all away. When I walked out of my room, the maids stopped me.
"Queen Wicalenia ordered me to tell you that you needed to change into the suit. You have an important meeting with someone today."
Meeting? What is all this about? Without asking anything, I walked back into my room and changed into the suit. I remembered to fix my hair because I hated the way the maids did my hair. I just applied a bit of gel and brushed my hair how I would normally brush it.
"Perfect." The maid said as I walked out of my room. She has such a suspicious look on her face. I ignored it. "Your parents are waiting for you in the dining room."
I walked to the dining room. The suit was surprisingly comfortable. But I still hated it. I hate any and every suit. Once I got to the dining room, my mom and dad were all dressed up.
Mother was dressed in a sparkly red gown, red heels, red earrings, and a red necklace. Everything she wore was red. While my dad was wearing a suit that looked exactly like mine, just a bigger size of course.
"Who are we meeting today?" I asked my parents.
"We're going to meet your princess, Karma."
"My princess? I already told you guys, I don't want a princess. I'm better off being independent you know." I was so furious. Yesterday, they told me that they found me a princess but they never told me that I was going to meet her today. I also told them I needed time to think about it. Ugh, this isn't fair. I felt like jumping out of the window and running away.
"Yes. Karma, we expect you to be good today. No matter how much you feel like running away, restrain yourself. Be respectful."
"Fine." I knew there was no turning back. Everything was already set up.
We went outside of the castle and waited for the carriage to get here. And to think of it, they never told me who the "princess" was or where we were going.
The trip there was so boring. Every time I asked my parents where we were going, they didn't tell me anything. Then I remembered, I had my compass! I took out my compass to check which direction we were going. North. We were going North. That means we were going to the Kingdom of Astaremas. To Y/N's place.
