Epilogue

8 Years Later...

As I was laying down on the couch holding my book, I hear a creak to a door opening. I straightened my posture quickly and turned my head to see who it was. 

"Y/N, are you doing okay?" Karma said, walking over to me. He was just getting back from his meeting. "Your hair is quite messy."

"Ah, I was laying down so my hair is probably messed up." I giggled. He walked around the couch and then sat down next to me. His eyes look towards the title cover of the book I was reading. 

"Do you find that interesting?" Karma asked, I looked at the book. 

"Well, yeah. I suppose." I shrug my shoulders. Karma chuckled and took his hand, tilting it upwards a bit so I meet his gaze. Karma quickly pecked me on the lips and then a voice from the hallways stopped him. 

"Oh, sorry. I have to go." Karma said, scratching his head. I nodded and then he left the room. I paused for a moment to take in what just happened. My index finger was hovering on my lips. I shake my head and then continue what I was reading. 

"Haa..." I sighed. I place down the book I've just finished reading and poured myself a cup of tea. As I poured my cup of tea, I was thinking how Karma's cousins were doing. We haven't seen them for awhile, so I figured why not see them? I finished pouring my cup of tea and sipped it. After taking a few minutes to drink my tea, I get up from the couch and exit out the room. I looked both ways and then continued towards the meeting room. As a approached the door, I hear mumbles of voices. I leaned my ear against the door to try to hear the voices. 

"Do you think..."

"That's absurd!" A voice yelled, making the mumbling from outside the door quiet. A chair chattered as the footsteps of a person was stomping to the door. The door open making it hit my forehead. The man then turned his head to see me rubbing my forehead after being hit. 

"Oh my god! I, I'm very sorry, Your Highness!" The man bowed towards me. I hear another pair of footsteps from the door and...

"What happened?" Karma exclaimed, he looked down to see the noble men bowing down to me. 

"It's fine, honestly. It was my fault." I respond, blowing air towards my bangs and making my bangers lift up a bit. 

"Are you sure?" Karma walked over to me. I nod in response. After that, Karma had taken care what happened next.

As the sun was setting down, I walked through the greenhouse. There were sorts of colors of the flowers and plants. I often bent down sometimes to have a closer look. 

"Didn't think you'd be here." A mysterious voice said. I look around my surroundings to see a tall man, leaning his back in the door entrance of the greenhouse. 

"Kazuko?" I mumbled to myself. The man then slumped his shoulders. 

He then pointed to himself. "Do you not remember me, Y/N?" Kazuko said, with a tone of sadness in his voice. I then scurry to the door way and see Kazuko standing in front of me. 

"Ah! It's you Kazuko!" I exclaimed. I then look behind his back. 

"Who are you looking for?" Kazuko questioned. 

"Aoi... did she not come here? Did you not bring her?" I said. Kazuko scratched his head.

"Well, I didn't bring her, but she also wasn't able to come here." Kazuko replied. I tilted my head in confusion. 

"What do you mean?" 

"Aoi, is currently pregnant." Kazuko finally said. 

"What?!" I exclaimed. My hand hovers my mouth in shock. "Her first?"

"Yup, you guessed it." Kazuko chuckled. I cross my arms, then a pair of hands laid on my shoulders. I turn around to see who it was. 

"Oh, Karma." I sighed. Karma looks at me and then Kazuko. 

"Don't worry, I didn't do anything to them." Kazuko said. I nodded in approval. Karma nodded back at me. He removed his hands off my shoulders. 

"Is it true? Is Aoi really pregnant?" Karma asked. Kazuko nodded. Karma then looked at me. 

"Why are you looking at me? And, my answer is no if that's what you're trying to say." I pouted slightly. Karma put a flashed a slight smile on his face. I looked at the sun and saw it was almost down and that night was approaching. 

"Sorry, I'm going to head to bed." I say, yawning and leaving Kazuko and Karma behind. I exited out the greenhouse and sensed Karma following behind me. We both walk to our room side by side in silence. As we approached our room, Karma held the door for me and I bowed as a 'thank you'. We quickly got dressed for bed and headed to sleep. I slowly open my eyes to still a dark room, I turn my head towards the window and see that it's still night. I groan and get out of bed to drink some water. 

"I can't believe Aoi is pregnant. That was sudden news." I whisper to myself. I held the cup of water in my hand and swished it around as if I was drinking wine. I look down at cup of water to see a reflection of my face. I frowned and started to make funny faces. 

"What are you doing?" Karma's voice said, startling me and quickly changing my face expression. 

"Hehe, nothing really." I placed my finger on the rim of the cup and followed the circle. Karma walked towards me and then hugged me. "Uh, Karma. Did you need something?" Karma shook his head 'no' and I sighed and patted his back. 

"Did you know what I was thinking about back when we were at the greenhouse with Kazuko?" Karma said. I nodded. Karma's arms moved away from my quickly. 

"What?" I say. Karma then shook his head and kissed me on the forehead. 

"Wait! You can't just act so shy and then do that all of a sudden!" I exclaimed. Karma pulled my hand and leaded me to the bed. He then helped me get into bed and tuck me in like I was some kid. 

"Good night." 

"Mhm, good night." I turned over to sleep, and a sudden warm embrace held me in their arms. I smiled softly and fell to sleep.

We're very sorry we went on a break, honestly I (Author 1) didn't know what to write for the epilogue for a while. 

I'm thinking of rewriting this so the weird and cringe-y moments aren't so embarrassing to read. I'm also improving on my grammar so the fanfiction makes more sense and readable. Also, I'm posting another fanfic on "Ao3" or otherwise known as "Archive of Our Own". My username is the username I have as my Wattpad. Thank you for your support and thank you for 200 views!
