The day was coming towards an end as we finished Y/N's birthday meal. The wind blew away the napkins and Aoi tried chasing it attempting to retrieve it again.

Aoi and Kazuko went the other way leaving me and Y/N alone. We walk towards our rooms and we both reach our rooms.

"Uh, thank you for today." Y/N muttered.

"Mhm" I nodded. We open our doors and I look back at her. Our eyes met and our eyes widened.

"Night." We both say at the same time. I chuckle and proceed into my room. I close the door and walk to my mirror. I stare at myself intensely and lay back on my couch. I rub my head tiredly and sighed.

I look at the moon and walk to my bed and lay down. I kick my shoes off and stare at my ceiling. I suddenly fell asleep.

...

I woke up to a big knock on my door. I yawn and open the door revealing my parents.

"Mom? Dad? What brings you here?" I questioned as I opened the door with my back. They both sit down at my couch and I join them.

"We've decided you and Y/N need to take it up a notch." My father said. I sat there with my thoughts and something embarrassing popped up on my head. I lightly blush and tightly close my eyes to get rid of the thought.

My father and mother look back at each other. "Sorry," I continued, "how exactly?" I cleared my throat.

"You need to share a room with her." I choked on my mothers' words. It was expected. She was leaving tomorrow but they told me this late? I slowly nod.

"We already prepared a room for you both already." My father added. I sighed and nodded again.

They both get up from the couch and leave. I was getting hungry and decided to get some food. I pushed open my door and saw Y/N round around the corner. She waved and continued walking.

...

I swevered my wooden sword left and right and practiced stances with my fists. I tightened my grip on the sword and practiced backswing. Sweat comes down my face like raindrops racing down a window.

I eventually got fatigue and took a break. I gulped down my whole water canteen and wiped my face with a clean towel. I continued doing counterattacks until my body was wiped out.

I gasped for some air to breathe and saw Y/N pass through the corridor.

"Y/N!" I yelled for her attention. She stopped and looked for the voice and spotted me. She tilted her head and I motioned her to come to me.

"Yes?" She replied. I took a deep breath and told her the news. She nodded.

"Ah I see." Y/N objected. She walked away from me and she stopped in her tracks. "Leave some space for me!" She waved back at me and hurried to the library.

I was flabbergasted at what just happened and she seemed not to mind.

...

Later that night, a guard led me to the room where my mother and father assigned for me and Y/N to sleep in.

I opened the door to a REALLY big room. I didn't expect so much room. I had nothing to do but read until Y/N arrived.

The door opened and Y/N was standing in front of it with her suitcase. I put down my book and grabbed her suitcase and placed it down near the door. She thanked me and I smiled.
