I decided to write this bc I just sneezed and I almost gave myself whiplash from my ✨dramatic✨ actions.
Anyways, enjoy this story! ↖(^ω^)↗
Y/N'S PoV:
The sun. Sometimes it's beautiful and you smile when you see it. Many people love the sun because it emits good vibes and makes them feel happy. It makes people motivated and determined to get through the day. People are thankful that they can even see the sun. Living in the world we live in, some of us don't get to see the sunlight every morning. Some of us don't live long enough to see the sun shining bright again.
The sun makes me happy, too.
But the morning sun is shit.
Every time I wake up, the sun blinds me. Literally, I cannot see because of the bright ass sun. I look like a whole rat trying to squint my eyes from the sun. Good thing I wasn't sleeping with anyone last night. I was gonna sleep with Levi but I was too tired to go to his office.
Anyways, my personal sun torture got me up this morning. I squinted so hard that it hurt. I groaned and stretched as I got out of bed and thought about what I was going to do today. Then I remembered that the commander gave us a day off and that we could go do whatever we wanted. I remembered that I agreed to go with Sasha and Connie to the shops and get food. I smiled and jumped up to get ready.
I looked in the mirror and noticed that my eyes were puffy and my nose was red. "Huh? Was I crying?", I whispered to myself. I got closer to the mirror to take a closer look. As I was looking, I was interrupted by an aggressive sneeze. "Oh shit. Am I...sick???", I raised an eyebrow then shook it off. "Eh. I'll be fine. Wait, Levi isn't gonna let me go anywhere if he finds out! Shit. I'll just put on some makeup or say I had a bad dream." I applied some powder to cover up my red nose and puffy eyes.
I then walked out of the bathroom and grabbed my purse. I cleaned up my room and walked out the door. I made my way to the cafeteria until I was pulled into Levi's office by the one and only, Levi. "Where are you going, brat?", he asked plainly. "Uh- I was going to the cafeteria to get some breakfast. Why?"
"I already have your breakfast in here. Come on." He led me to the couch where two plates of food were sitting. I sat down on the couch and Levi sat next to me. He kissed my cheek and pulled me closer to him. "How did you sleep love?", he asked softly. "I-I slept fine I guess. Why do you ask?", I said nervously. "You look tired. Your eyes look a little puffy too.", he responded while examining my eyes.
My breath hitched a little bit from his observation. 'Shit! I gotta make something up! Umm, oh I know!'
"Oh, I'm not tired. I just had a bad dream last night and I guess I was crying in my sleep. Hehe..." He looked at me like I was lying, which I was, but I was able to look like I was telling the truth. "Oh, well, next time you have a bad dream, just come in my room and I'll hold you okay?" I nodded innocently and began eating the food.
As I was eating, I noticed the food didn't have any taste. "Ew.", I said while slowly chewing the food. "What do you mean? What's wrong?", Levi asked. "This doesn't taste like anything. Does your food taste like anything?"
"Yeah, I can taste mine. It's not pleasant but I can taste it. You seem a little off today. Is something wrong?", his concern was now growing for me. "No, I-I'm good."
"Are you sure?~", he cupped my face and pecked my nose. As soon as he let go of my face I let out a loud sneeze.
"ACHOO!"
"Bless you.", Levi said plainly.
"Th-thank y- ACHOO!"
"Bless you, again.", he said once more.
