A scorching day's cool breeze
A respite under shadowy trees
Birds singing in melodious keys
While gliding above with graceful ease

The aroma of the morning brew
The outside grass adorned with dew
The rising sun's golden hue
Spring flowers blooming anew
Little things like...
The gentle patter on your window pane
The fragrance of the mud in rain;
The sky's canvas a piece of art
Enough to soothe a grieving heart
Little things like...
Basking in the December sun
The tender touch of a loved one
The memory of your first kiss
The carefree days of heavenly bliss
Little things like...
Curling up with a good book
A cup of coffee, a cozy nook
The comfort of a restful sleep
The gift of dreams yours to keep
Why drown in desire
And insatiable greed?
