yellowbrick road
As I walk this yellow brick road
I see through ghostly veiled views
I see the graves of fallen feathered foes
I see the evil of men be blamed on entities of old
As I walk along the yellow brick road
I hear the cries of children forgotten and alone
I hear the devilish whispers of foolish fiery fiends
I hear the lies of life tempting me to stay
As I walk this yellow brick road
I feel the shiver down my spine
I feel the suffocating stench of souls stealing my breath away
I feel the cold cause trying to steal me away
As I walk along this yellow brick road
It does not feel so mellow anymore
As I thought this lie would save me
As The feathery friends return to take me
You betray me once more
