Hey guys! Sorry I had school, I've been getting migraines and I've been busy. My mom also cut my hair and it's the first time it's been cut since COVID and it's been about a year and a half since it has. Let's just say we spent a lot of time trying to even it out. Let's just say she isn't a hair stylist and my dad was repeatedly singing "Beauty School Dropout" and so was I so unless I get a suggestion for the chapter here is "Beauty School Dropout" from Grease. Although I'll probably just replace it at the top and leave the video at the bottom for anyone that wants it.

If you have a suggestion for the chapter comment it and label it chapter so I know you want it here. If you have a request for a future chapter label it future and I'll make sure to include it.

Trevor led us up to Lily's room while he made small talk telling us about how the boys had their tests today and how our older three brothers had to drag them out of bed and the house so they could take their tests. They also had to promise them that they could stay home tomorrow since it's Friday and they have no tests and also some additional time to spend with us. He told us that Benjamin is a senior and that Antonio is a junior, as well.

We arrived at Lil's room that we have deemed as our room and we could see that Trevor secretly wanted to stay but thankfully he let us go in so we could have some time to think. Before leaving he told us that one of them would come up to tell us when the doctor got here and bring us there as well.

Lily goes over to the bed and sits down so I follow and sit next to her. "How are you feeling about the doctor coming for the checkup?"

She sighs and leans against me, cautious of her injuries. "I mean I'm nervous. I...I don't know I mean I'm not exactly comfortable with the idea of anyone checking that out but, I know they probably should. I'm scared it's gonna hurt too and what the doctor may say."

I hear the defeat and the fear in her voice. Even after we escaped we still have our wounds to mend. However as much as I wish I know all them won't ever completely heal.

"Hey Lily, listen to me alright. It's going to be okay. She'll come, check you out and then we'll go and watch their tv or find something fun to do. Maybe they have some books in here or something and we can find some new ones to read. That or we could write a new song together. We haven't done that since we got out except for our little games." I encourage trying to be as optimistic as possible for my twin. Truth is I'm terrified that the doctor will say something is wrong with her.

She looks up at me and smiles softly. "Yeah I'd like that Lulu. We haven't done that in a while. I've got some new ideas too." She speaks softly as she looks a little more reassured.

"Just know I can be there with you too if you want. I won't leave your side. I'll turn my back and just face you okay. Anything you need and I'm there for you." I confirm as a wrap her in a tight but gentle hug.

"And I'll always be there for you too Lu, no matter what and whatever it is." She says with a strength in her voice that promises an infinite forevers as she returns the hug just as much.

We stay in the hug for a minute just
absorbing the comfort and security that we get from each other. When we finally break apart I decide to speak. "So what do you want to do till they come to get us." We have that book that you got from the library as a giveaway that you could read."

I see her face brighten at the idea of reading the book. Before we left the school had books that were in rough shape, not that anything was in good shape there, that were free to take and we took some. One of those being this book called Rebel of the Sands by Alwyn Hamilton. She wanted me to read it first and wouldn't back down so I did and now it's her turn to she got a bit into and she can't wait to finish it.
