Song To Listen To When Reading- From The Ground Up by Dan+Shay Y/n's POV I laid in bed with my boyfriend, JJ, in a comfortable silence. Well that's until he broke it. "Y/n" "Hm" i responded slightly shifting so my head was in the crook of his neck.
"I'm sorry i know i can be handful sometimes. I don't ever want to lose you and to be honest i don't deserve you. Not one bit. I mean you deserve someone who can give you everything, who doesn't have a bad temper, who doesn't have a...an abusive dad" he said. I didn't even have to look at him to know he was crying.
I propped myself up and wiped his tears. "J i don't want anyone else. Don't you ever talk about yourself like that again. You hear me. JJ your the funniest, sweetest, most caring and loving person i've ever met. And i've met A LOT of people. I love you and don't you ever forget it" i said and place a kiss on his forehead. "I love you too" he answered as he flipped us over so i was on my back and he was laying on top of me with his head in my neck.
*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^* We all were sitting in the van just driving around being idiots. I glanced at JJ as he was arguing with Pope over some dumbass shit.
"JJ, babe, stop trying to convincing Pope to do stuff he doesn't want to do" i warned and laid my head on his bicep. "I'm not! Why would i do that" he defended. "Which one is it now pope. Drinking, smoking, stealing, something illegal, or shooting a gun" i listed off the usual. "All of the above" he said and i let out a small chuckle.
"I feel attacked" JJ said with a pout on his adorable face. "Aww baby i was just joking. i love you" i said and leaned my head on his shoulder. I looked up and kissed him hard.
"Eww guys not in the van" kie chimed from up front. We pulled away and i let out a laugh. "Sorry" i said.
*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^* JJ and i sat on the beach as the sunset. "Babygirl" JJ said as he shifted his position to look up at me. "What bub" i responded meeting his eyes. "Can i stay at your place tonight" he asked. "Of course. You're always welcome J" i said.
"Thanks Y/n" he laying his head in my lap. "You're welcome baby" i answered as i played with his hair.
*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^* "Babe" JJ said with his head resting on my stomach as i was reading a book. "Y/n/n. Babygirl. Love. Babyyy answer me" he whined.
"What. What could you possibly want JJ" i said laying my book down. "i love you" he said with a large grin on his face. i let out a small chuckle. "i love you to bub" "promise" he declared sticking his pinkie out. "promise" i said and wrapped my finger around his.
*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^* "I'm gonna grab a beer. You want one" JJ asked as he stood up from John B's couch. I shook my head no in response.
His phone made a little noise, implying someone texted him. I looked to see who it was but all i noticed was his lock screen.
It was a picture of me, sitting on the beach with the sunset in the view, wearing his hoodie and giving a small smile to the camera. A little grin appeared on my face.
"Did someone text me or somethin-" "Am i your wallpaper on your phone"
He blushed a slight shade of pink and nodded. "If you uh- if you don't like i'll change it something els-" "It's adorable, don't change it. You're mine too. See?" i said holding up my phone for him to look at. Mine was a picture of him while we were laying in the hammock, and he had a huge smile planted on his face. He smiled and sat down and kissed my forehead.
