Y/n's POV I sat in my room, waiting for JJ to get here. He had gotten an after school detention because he hasn't been completing or turning in his homework assignments for the past few weeks. My phone dinged and i saw it was JJ and i quickly texted him back.
Bub💖🥵 Hey baby i just left I'll be there in like 5 minutes.
ok. JJ? Yes love Bring your bag we're getting you caught up Haha no I'm good Aww baby, i wasn't asking
I turned off my phone and grabbed my bag and brought it to my room, making a list of all the assignments he needs to complete. And let me tell you, it's a lot. I heard the door open and i bolted down the stairs. I threw my arms around him and he picked me up. "Hi" i said looking him straight in the eye, a goofy smile fixed on my face. "Hi" he said mimicking my expression. "Come on let's go get started" i said as i dragged him upstairs.
"Ok so i figured we'd start with English first then math, then science and finally history" i told him as we sat on the bed, putting each paper into the pile with the correct subject. "Or we could just ya know" he said laying on my bed. I gave him the 'are you serious' face. "Or hey we could just make out" he suggested, shrugging his shoulders. I laughed and gave him a kiss. "There that should last you this entire time" i said, throwing a pencil at him.
We started off with english. He had to write a paragraph about a chapter of a book but because he had put it off for weeks, it was now 6 chapters to read and 6 paragraphs to write. It didn't take him long so after that we completed the packet from weeks ago that would've helped with a test we completed weeks ago. Finally all he had to do was to watch a video and take notes on it.
Next was math, or Algebra 1 because he was required to take it this year. First he had to complete weeks of overdue homework. Then he had a large packet that was due 1 week ago. "No Y/n i can't it- I'm so fucking confused an-" "J, baby, listen to me, how bout we take a break and get some dinner ok" i suggested while stroking his bicep with my thumb. He nodded and we went downstairs. My mom wasn't gonna be home till tomorrow and my dad works till 11:00 each night.
"Wanna order Chik-fil-a" i said as he plopped himself on the couch, with me laying on top of him. He nodded and shut his eyes. I opened my phone and ordered us some food. Once i was done i looked up and saw him sleeping. I didn't wake him up because he deserves what sleep he can get. With how stressful schools been, his dad, work, and just overall life, he's physically and mentally tired.
I heard a knock on the door indicating the food was here i stood up and got it. I brought it back in and JJ was sitting up looking very confused. "Ready to eat" i asked and he nodded. We ate in a comfortable silence before we decided to go finish the packet. I had already taken algebra so i helped him along.
We finished that and decided to start the science work. It wasn't too difficult because it was mainly copying the notes and submitting them.
Finally we started his history work. It was all just reading and writing so it wasn't hard at all.
"We're finished baby" i said as he laid down, putting his head in my neck. "You should take a shower bub" i said playing with his hair and placing a kiss on his head. "Only if you come with me" he said as he sat up. "Of course baby" i replied.
I went and started our shower, making sure the water was nice and warm. I called JJ in and we started stripping. Once we were both in, all i did was hold him. After a little bit i washed his hair and he washed mine. We washed our bodies and got out.
He got dressed in nothing but boxers and i wore spandex and his 'carhartt' t-shirt. I quickly got into bed and laid my head on his chest. "I love you J, no matter what" i said and kissed his jaw. "I love you too"
