JJs Pov-
I watched as my little 5 year old daughter, Josie, ran around the park. i smiled to myself as she screamed and giggled as she went down the slide.
i was 16 almost 17 when i became a dad. Josie's mother wanted to send her to the mainland adoption center. i couldn't just let her abandon the baby because i didn't pull out. Now here i am, 21, clean and sober for 5 years and 2 months, a good job, great friends, and a very healthy and beautiful daughter. "Daddy come push me on the swing" she said as she ran towards the swing. i chuckled and follow her to the swing she wanted.

i was pushing her pretty high when a little boy pulled the most beautiful girl i had ever seen over to the swing next to us.

Y/n's Pov-
"Ok Ok im coming" i said as my nephew, Kai, pulled me to the swing. He was my older brother Noah's kid. He walked to the swing next to a boy my age and a little girl he was pushing. I smiled
as she giggled as he pushes her higher. "She's adorable. Is she yours" i spoke as Kai pumped his legs on the swing. He looked at me and he was absolutely gorgeous. God took his time on him. Damn.

"Uh yeah she is. How bout him" he said gesturing to Kai. I shook my head. "No he's my brother's. i'm just babysitting him" i said as he nodded. "How old is he" he said as he gave his daughter another gentle push. "He's turning 8 next month" i said as i looked at Kai. "And uh how old are you" he said smoothly. "I'll be 21 in july" i said as i looked at the ground. I wanna kiss him so bad.
no y/n stop.

"Daddy who's this" his daughter said as she climbed off the swing. Kai had started to go play in the sandbox. "This is uh" he started looking up at me with a smile. "I'm Y/n" i said as i knelt down to her height. "Your very pretty" she said with a smile. i blushed and looked up at her dad as he shook his head and chuckled. he has a slight blush on his face.

"So are you" i said as she giggled. i stood up and looked at her dad. "so what's your name" i said said as his eyes met mine. "JJ" he said as his daughter grabbed my hand. "Can you come play in the sand box with me" she said looking at me with her big blue eyes. Probably got them from her dad. I looked at JJ as approval and he nodded and followed us.

4 and a half months Later...

I stood in JJ's kitchen holding a cake with a bunch of candles on it. I looked at him holding Josie in his arms as she played with her dress. I walked towards my boyfriend as we sang for his birthday. I stood right in front of him as his friends and i finished singing happy birthday.

"Help me blow out the candles princess" he said looking at his little girl. She had the biggest smile on her face as they blew out all 22 of his candles. We all clapped as the candles went out. i cut the cake and served it. Of course Josie got it all over her face. i was in her room getting her in her pjs when JJ came  in and smiled at us from the door way. He came up to me as i was tucking her in. He wrapped his arms around me from behind and nuzzled his face in my neck. "Can you spend the night please" he said as i pulled the blanket over Josie. I turned around and held his face in my hands and kissed him sweetly as in saying 'yes'.

I followed him to the bedroom as we got ready for bed. i cuddled into his chest as he played with my hair. "hey Y/n" he said as we laid in silence. "Hey JJ" i said as i pulled my leg in between his legs. "I love you" he said and i tensed up for a second. "You don't have to say it back o-" "i love you too JJ" i said with a smile on my face. he kissed my head and we fell into a blissful sleep.

3 months later(7 and half months into the relationship)...
I sat in the living room with JJ and Josie as we watched the movie 'Encanto'. Josie looked at me and paused the movie. "Mommy can you make some popcorn" she said sweetly as i sat in shock for a second. i looked at JJ and he nodded towards the kitchen. i found a bag of popcorn and popped it in the microwave. "Hey i'm sorry about her. I understand if it's too soon for something-" i didn't let him finish. i kissed him hard. He blushed as we pulled away. "It's all good. I love you and i love her. He smiled and we walked back into the living room towards Josie with popcorn in hand.

1 year later...

I sat with JJ on the beach as we laughed about just about anything. We had been together for a year and 4 months now. He smiled and grabbed my hand and kissed it. we started to pack up our picnic when he stopped me. I looked at him with a confused smile on my face. He reached in his pocket and got down on one knee. i realized what he was doing and covered my mouth with my hands. "Y/n Y/m/n Y/l/n. I met you a little over a year ago and have been waiting for this day since. I love you in every way possible. I love the way you love me. I love the way you love my daughter and treat her like your own. You've showed me what love looks like and that it is possible" he paused as some tears ran down his face and mine.

"I want to make you mine for the rest of our lives. I love you so much baby. Will you do me the honor of becoming Y/n Maybank" he said as he opened the little velvet box. it had a simple but beautiful diamond ring.

i nodded my head over and over again. "Yes Yes oh my god yes" i said as he slipped the ring on. He stood up and held my face in his large hands. He gave me the most passionate kiss i have ever received.

3 months later...

i fell to my knees in front of the toilet as i threw up for the 9th day in a row. My period was late and i was sick only in the morning. Could it be?

I got dressed and went to CVS to get some pregnancy tests. i picked up a box of clear blue tests. i quickly paid for them and went home. Josie, who was now 7, wasn't up yet. i started on breakfast as put the tests in the bathroom drawer. about 20 minutes JJ and Josie come running to the kitchen at the smell of french toast.

We laughed as we ate. JJ then took Josie up stairs to give her a bath because she was going to visit kiara and pope today. they offered to take her to the park then to lunch.

i decided to wait until she leaves to take the test.
JJ got her out and got her dressed while i was cleaning up. Soon, Josie left. I darted to the bathroom and peed on the stick. JJ was watching tv so i wasn't worried. i waited ten minutes and the results came back...
POSITIVE

OH MY GOD!!! HOLY SHIT

I started crying tears of joy as i picked up the test and ran into the living room. "JJ baby i need to tell you something" i said as he looked up at me. "what's up baby" he said as i sat on the couch. "I'm pregnant" i said and as soon as i did he smiled and pulled me into his lap. "We're gonna have a baby. Oh my god this isn't real" he said as we hugged.

When Josie got home we sat her down and said to her "Josie, you're gonna be a big sister" and she went berserk. I couldn't be happier.
