Y/n's POV- I patiently sat in my room waiting for JJ. He called me earlier and told me he had a surprise for me and that he'd be here soon. I laid down on my bed and stared at the ceiling for about 10 seconds before standing up and making my way downstairs.
i walked in my kitchen and looked around before deciding to make some brownies. i pulled out my moms recipe out of the box and gathered the necessary ingredients.
i started mixing all my dry ingredients together when i heard my front door open.
"Babe! Y/n where ya at" i heard him yell as he kicked off his shoes. he walked into the kitchen before i could answer him.
"Oh there you are" he said as he walked around the island. "Whatcha makin" he said as he tried to stick his fingers in it. i smacked his hand and he quickly pulled it back.
"Brownies" i said as i poured dry ingredients into the wet ingredients.
"Brownies! brownies are my-" "they're you're favorite. i know" i said with a smile as i turned to him. He grabbed my face and gave me a gentle kiss. I kept mixing until the oven beeped, letting me know that the oven is at the right temperature.
i popped the brownies in and led JJ to the living room. i laid on the couch with my head resting on JJ's chest.
"Oh baby do you want your surprise now" he said after a few minutes. i nodded and sat up.
"You know you don't have to get me stuff right" i said as he dug around in his pocket.
he stopped and looked at me before speaking up. "No i know i know. but i wanted to" he said, nodding his head.
He pulled a little black bag out of his pocket. God please don't be drugs.
"Ok so you know how i always wear my shark tooth necklace-" i nodded as he paused "-well i went to the place i got mine and i looked around for a while. but eventually i found the perfect one" he said as he fidgeted.
"found the perfect what" i said out of curiosity.
He opened up the bag and pulled out a necklace.

I looked at it and didn't say anything. i smiled and took it into my hands.
"do you like it" he said as he watched my facial expression.
i smiled and nodded. "I love it but why" i asked him.
"well you're always playing with mine and talking about how much you love it. plus our necklaces sorta match. i just wanted to show you how much i love you" he said as i smiled at him. i felt my stomach flutter. man he gives me butterflies.
i handed it to him and told him to put it on me. i lifted my hair and let him clasp the necklace. i turned around kissed him slowly. it was sweet and slow, tender and gentle. it was perfect. until it was interrupted.
the timer for the brownies went off.
i got up and got them. we let them cool and then decided to try them.
