Tw: brief mention of suicide, self-induced forced selective mutism. Angst-
Light sides in skirts: Patton, Logan, Virgil
The Thomasphere thought that Roman would jump at the chance to show himself off in an extravagant skirt. Why is he still not showing up? Even Virgil and Logan found ones practical enough for them at fits their styles.
Shown their rooms: Virgil, Patton
Wouldn't Roman jump at the chance to show Thomas his dazzling room as soon as he found out he could? He'd forget reasoning and bring Thomas on adventures and let Thomas and the fanders enjoy the beauty of his creations and his home.
What is he hiding?
Sides who's had their issues worked upon: Virgil, Patton, Logan(0.5)
Roman has said over and over again that he's not okay, but he gets ignored or no one cares. In Am I Original especially, as well as in Crofters the Musical. Does Thomas not care about him...?
Sides who've apologized and genuinely improved in how they treat the others: Roman
Sides who tried to learn from their mistakes: Roman, Patton
Sides who everyone loves unconditionally: Patton, Virgil, Logan, Remus, Janus
Sides Thomas tries to understand: Patton, Logan, Virgil, Remus, Janus
Roman reflected on all of this. Remus and Logan got their own musicals handed to them. But every time he starts to sing, he's shut down and called annoying. He tried to be nice to Janus and learn from his mistakes with Virgil, but even Virgil got mad at him...so he hated the snake...and Patton and Thomas think he's evil, now...
Thomas and Patton scold Roman when he's not nice, but ignore it when Virgil says sometimes to me. He goes through his memories, almost every time he called Virgil something, it was in retaliation to what Virgil said, first.
Logan is the only one wit real and stable ideas, according to him. And well- isn't Logan the smart one? Roman is the dumb and unrealistic one, right?
Remus can easily get rid of Roman, get him out of the way. Roman was supposed to be a hero, right...? But he can't even defend against his own twin...he was useless the entire video. He could've helped Thomas calm down and quieted his brother, but he was shoved aside. Does't Logan get upset when they do that to him...?
Janus played to Roman's sensitivities and desires and befriended him, made him feel like he deserved something. But that was all a lie. The moment Roman did something Janus didn't likely, he dropped the act and showed his true feelings toward Roman.... but Roman was evil for laughing at his name...?
Roman just had to face it. Some people just aren't made to play the hero. Sometimes, no matter how hard you try, you'll always be in the wrong side of the line. Roman just can't seem to do anything right. (This sounds like a freakin' song and now I have ideas-)
Roman didn't want to be evil, though. He wasn't going to to duck out. He's not gonna kill himself, no, he's too scared for that.
He did, however, enchant a red mask. He put it on. It makes it so that he can't speak. Ever. He always seems to get himself into trouble by saying the wrong things, so he'll just stop saying things at all. And he can't take it off, it won't let him. Only the others can take it off, but he can't tell them that, anymore. And it's not like they'll care enough to investigate.
But it's okay...
He's not gonna hurt anyone anymore!
