A/N- No triggers, just read it (well, there's briefly mentioned death, but you'll understand why)

Roman had been born with the power to create. He didn't know how he got it, he just knew it was weird. But his twin brother made controlling it no problem. Remus always encouraged Roman to create and play with him while their parents ruled the kingdom.

One night, Remus woke Roman up, begging to play because he couldn't sleep. After a few attempts, Remus finally got Roman to come play.

Remus was in the mood for winter. They made a snowman named Patton and had snowball fights. Remus was jumping on snow hills that Roman made until he started going too fast. Roman slipped on ice and blasted his brother in the head.

"Remus!" Roman ran over and clutched his sleeping brother, a grayish streak appearing in his bangs.

Their parents heard Roman's cry and rushed Remus to the trolls, where the leader, Logan, helped a bit. But out of fear, Roman's powers got locked into making winter he couldn't control. He stayed locked in his room, afraid of becoming an evil monster. 

Years, Roman was crowned king after the twin's parents died in a storm at sea. There, Remus met a man, Janus, and they were both insistent on marrying then and there, bringing it up to Roman. 

"You...want to marry a man you just met…?" Remus nodded, "No!" Roman won't let anyone, not even himself, hurt his brother. 

But...Remus just kept on…on pushing...suddenly there were ice spikes and Roman was fleeing. They found out- they know the evil monster he truly is! Tears streamed down his face as he ran away.  Far away from the winter he created in the middle of summer- he can't let himself hurt them, anymore.

Remus ran after his brother, eventually running into Virgil, an anti social ice cutter, at Thomas Sanders' Trading Station, along with Virgil's only friend, his reindeer, Spider.

They made it to the ice palace that Roman made, after running into Patton, the snowman they made when they were younger. 

But, Roman ended up accidentally shooting Remus in the heart with his ice. He created a Dragon Witch to chase them out.

But, Janus, a man dressed in orange, and some men went to hunt down Roman...he put up a fight, but Janus said some killing words…

"Don't become the villain they think you are!"

Roman woke up caged. At this point...they should just kill him...he's evil...and far too dangerous to keep around….

I was thinking about Remus' hair white, and how it was like Anna's, then I saw how Roman would be like Elsa- terrified of being evil, which ultimately still led to him hurting the people he cares about. Janus being two faced and a master at lying. Patton and Olaf are just balls of foolish optimism, Logan is wise and intelligent, Virgil wouldn't trust people and he's definitely freak out over the prospect of marrying someone you just met when Remus mentions it. Remus and Anna are both impulsive and blindly reckless, yet still somehow manage to work things out. Also, how him and Roman were super close (King) but then got forced apart (the split)

And Thomas just being a nice and loveable lump of pureness. I really like this AU
