THE FIRST YEAR OF COLLEGE, WAS SUCH A CHANGE FOR RORY, WHENEVER SHE had free time, she would go over to her home, and cook. It made her feel close to her mother, and it soothes her. She studied and went to some parties, but she would much rather stay home and cook. She had a lot of emotions to go through and wanted to work on herself.
Rory did manage to make new friends, including Nicolette Santiago, also know as Nico. The two hit it off, and Rory kissed Nico at a party, and the two ended up in a bedroom. The next morning the two girls agreed they weren't looking for a relationship, but did enjoy each other, and they weren't mutually exclusive, Nico casually dated others. But they definitely call each other if they wanted to relax, destress.
Instead of enjoying summer like everyone else, she took a summer class, and stayed in her parents home. She needed it, she wanted to reach her goals, and she got a job to help her pass the time.
HER SECOND YEAR, WAS PRETY MUCH SIMILAR, BUT SHE DECIDED ON LIVING OFF CAMPUS, in her parents old home. She had grown, so much, and she didn't expect to have change much till she went back during the summer, for a few days. She cleaned out her old room, and the only room that stayed exactly how it was was her parents bedroom. She could bring herself to clean it all out. Jenna moved into one of the rooms, and the two girls began their journey of living in the house. She was apart of the school schools newspaper, she hated it but she did to get the experience, all she did was edit, as she wasn't planning on being a journalist.
Nico and Rory still had their arrangement going, destressing, as Rory and Nico called it. The destressing part that absolutely drove Jenna insane, when Nico kept coming over to help Rory manage her stress. Jenna usually tried to be out of the house, when Nico came over, and Rory tried to stay quiet and not bring Nico over a lot, to be be fair to Jenna.
Halfway through the first semester, Rory got a small kitten off her and Jenna's friend. The kitten was adorable, all black, and loved cuddles. Rory named her Night, as she had almost lost her in the living room when all the lights were off. The small kitten meowing scared the ever living crap out of Jenna and Rory, after coming home late. Rory's major is English Literature with two minors, sociology and creativewriting, which meant her schedule was packed, and she had the luxury to do so without worrying about money.
Rory always had a interest for writing, and reading and getting so lost in the world you could escape your own. She thinks she inherited from her father Clint Forbes, he loved reading, he would read to her, as a child. Her love for music, her mother, all the greats. When she was having a hard time with life, she took refuge in her father's library, it was a dream, Rory had her own collection in her room here and in Mystic Falls.
