RORY ARRIVES HOME IN HER CAR, JENNA HAD MOVED BACK TO MYSTIC FALLS AFTER her sister and brother in law died. Leaving the Young Forbes woman living alone with her cat. She hears her black cat, Night, meowing at her, pulling her out of her trance. "We're almost there sweetie." Rory says.

She pulled up to her childhood's home, and she began feeling uneasy, she didn't want to come but she needed to. She just needed a break from school, and everything. After losing what she lost in the past year, she was burnt out wanted to come home, and feel comfort.

She'd gone to New York and spent a few months with Diana, she crashed at her place, helped her pay the rent and got a job as a waitress, living her best Rachel Greene life. After her break up with a hot older boyfriend, she wanted a change of seneary, the Gilbert's parents funeral triggered something inside in the brunette Forbes girl. Something she locked away after her parents funeral. She planned on staying in New York, that was the plan until Caroline called her home, for help with the Miss Mystic Falls coming up. She had partaken in the tradition as a teenage and won, which she absolutely hated. Diana, Jenna, and Swayer enjoyed watching her partake in it and teased her relentlessly for it.

She got out of the car and she let Night out as she grabbed her bag, from the passenger seat, along with her coffee mug.

"You're here! You're home!" Caroline says smiling excitingly seeing her older sister, running to her welcoming her in a tight embrace.

"Of course I came! The future Miss Mystic Falls called in crisis and I came running." She says smiling.

"My big sister is home! I've missed you!" Caroline tells her.

"I've missed you too, Care." She says.

"You can actually help me win, as a Former Miss Mystic Falls." Caroline says pulling away from her older sister. "Moms going to be so happy you're finally here!" Caroline exclaims joyfully, and Lorelai can't help but smile, feeling her sisters excitement. She knew Care took it hard when their parents split up, Lorelai had already lost her parents, so when Bill began to pull away from them, her and Caroline, she didn't beg him to stay. It still hurt, but she knew her dad was Clint Forbes, that was her real dad, while Bill helped raise her, and Liz raised her. She would eternally would be grateful but her parents are still very much alive and she's proof of their love. Lorelai would do anything to make her sister happy, and she always tried to be a good big sister, and protect her from things. She didn't want her to hurt, the way she has been hurt. Rory grabs the pastries and the goodie basket her aunt sent with her.

"Come on, let's go inside." The older Forbes girl says, Nigh follows both Forbes girls. "You can tell me all about your plans, and I'll help you with anything you need." She adds smiling at her baby sister.

"Did your aunt send those?" Caroline asks, Rory nods. "I love love love her pastries!" Caroline says excitingly.

"Me too!" Rory says smiling as the two enter the home.

THE FORBES GIRLS MADE PLANS OVER MISS MYSTIC FALLS, CAROLINE ASKING ANY questions she had, as Rory had put it, there is no such thing as a dumb question. The two sat in living room eating popcorn, that Rory had made the two and the pastries Rory's aunt until Liz came home.

"You're home." Liz smiles at Rory, who nods and gets up and welcomes Liz in a hug.

"I heard I was needed." Rory says smiling.

"And you came running to your sisters rescue." Liz says as they both pull away, "as always." She adds and Rory nods, smiling at her mom.

"Before the drive home, Aunt Dina stopped in New York, we made pastries." Rory smiles offering her mom some.

"How's Dina?" Liz asks.

"She's good." Rory smiles, "uncle Richard and Leia are good too." Rory adds. Liz smiles and nods taking a pastry. "She was wondering if I'd join them for the summer, I told her I'd think about it." She says.

"How's Diana?" Care asks.

"She's found great, is dating a nice boy. Her parents like him, they're getting very serious, marriage is in the talks." Rory says before stuffing her face with a pastry.

"Better than the boy she was seeing here, he was just trouble." Liz says making Rory nod in agreement.

"He wasn't as bad as Mason." Care says making Rory laugh.

"God, no one is as bad as Mason." Rory says.

"I thought you loved Mason?" Liz asks her.

"I was a teenager, what do they know about love?" Rory asks, "quoting a very wise woman, 'you're a teenager, you know nothing about love." Rory says looking at Liz. She had told her after one of many fights, Rory and Mason had. Their off again on again relationship was something that consumed teenage Rory.

"Mason was bad." Care says remembering finding her sister crying over Mason, more times than she can count. She had seen Mason punch a wall once, when he got angry, Mason and Rory were not a good combination, especially while they were teenagers. Care once witnessed their screaming matches, and Rory kicked him out realizing Care was home, and she didn't want her to see it. That was the summer before tenth grade, that she broke up with him, and went to Vermont with her aunt and uncle. Care even joined her for two weeks.

"Yeah, we were bad for each other." Rory admits. "Well tenth grade was bad, for us." She says.

"Good to hear you admit it." Liz says in relief, Rory dating Mason was a such a headache, they were either hot or cold, no in between.

"I've grown mom." Rory reminds her.

"Yeah, I know." Liz smile at her oldest softly, she often forgets the young woman standing in front of her isn't the scared six year old left orphaned.

Rory smiles and claps her hands, "now, we have to help Care win!" She turns to look at her baby sister, who smiles at her excitingly.
