Why Won't You Love Me

𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐧

in which dean doesn't come

           DEAN WASN'T SUPPOSED TO BE IN MSYTIC FALLS, HE IS SUPPOSED TO BE DEAD for all this little town knows. But active vampire activity lead them to Mystics Falls. Lorelai Forbes hometown, or better know as Rory. His Lore. She wasn't one to come home often, usually avoided the small town. He should be good on not running into her.

Earlier that year, Dean couldn't help it anymore, he went looking for her. She sat on blanket, with a basket laid out, she read a book, as the wind blew through her hair. She looks as beautiful as ever. Angelic even. A man in a suit approaches her, taking a seat and kisses her. It wasn't an awkward kiss, it look like they are used to each other.

He wasn't sure what he expected, her not to move on? It had been more than a year. She had mourned him, Sam reassured him as much.

He saw the look in his eye, adoration. Clearly she was loved. And her laugh, the way her eye glistens as she looks up at the man. It was the similar look she used to give him.

"Dean." Sam calls out snapping him out the memory, "Come on." He motions his head and Dean nods and follows Sam. There's a crowd  near the street, watching the floats and he sees Rory from across the street, through a float, she looks as beautiful as ever, and when she turns ahead, and she maybe noticed and he moves back, hoping she didn't see him.

"We have a problem." Dean tells Sam.

Carol Lockwood says starting the parade, "Let's get a big applause to the Mystic Fall's high school Marching Band!" Everyone applause and scream as they see the marching band and the cheerleaders parade. Sam turns to look at Dean with a questioning look.

"I don't know if she saw me, but I saw her, she's not supposed to be here." Dean says. Sam quickly realizes who he means by she, Dean's very own Rory Forbes. "So your intel about her being in New York, is wrong."

"I wasn't 100 percent sure Dean, we don't speak often." Sam tells him, at the same time he sees a float with confederate soldiers, and cringes followed by one with girls in big old-timey dresses.

Carol Lockwood says, "This is Caroline Forbes, Miss Mystic Falls. Aren't they beautiful?" Sam raises an eyebrow at Dean.

"Isn't that her sister?" Sam asks motioning to the blonde.

Dean nods before groaning muttering "stupid little
Town," under his breath.

           DEAN REMINDED SAM OF THE FACT THAT LIZ THINKS HES DEAD, SO HE'D HAVE TO basically work the case alone, while Dean stayed behind at the motel room to do research.

TRUTHFULLY LIZ DIDN'T EXPECT TO MEET SAM WINCHESTER, SHE HAD HEARD FROM her daughter that Dean had died. Liz wasn't sure what to make of the entire situation and she didn't want to upset or worry Rory even more, she didn't speak about Dean. Rory kept her head in the sand and moved on with life, she was happy, and then she just dropped out of school and moved to New York. The move seemed out of nowhere for Liz and she tried her best to reach out and give Rory support, but Rory made it clear she just needed a little time away. Liz had heard from Rory's aunt Dina, that she was keeping minimum contact with them, as well which didn't put her at ease. She knew her daughter was a big girl but often struggled with reaching out when she needed help.

Right now, Liz had a lot of deal with and she couldn't add on more to her daughters plate, not right now. She was in an emotional place, with the crash and everything. Sam had helped take down a few vampires with the council.

    DEAN HAD STAYED HIDDEN MOST OF THE NIGHT, UNTIL SAM INFORMED HIM ABOUT Rory being in a car crash. While she's okay, her younger sister was in critical condition. He had saw her with the broken arm, he had overheard it was a clean break and she didn't need surgery.

"Dean!" Sam says annoyed by his brother's appearance at the hospital. "People might see you." He warns, by people he means Rory and her family. While Caroline is still out of it, Liz was very much in good health.

"They're too busy because the mayor died." Dean whisper yells the last part making Sam's eyes widen. He already knew that but Dean never ceases to amaze him in whisper-yelling at the worst absolute moments. Moments like these make him is what makes his true authentic self.

DEAN SAT IN THE CAR WATCHING RORY, HIS LORE'S HOUSE. HE SAW A MAN WALK UP, he looked familiarize with the walk way. As if it was second nature for him to come. He knocked and a few seconds later Rory is at the door, hugging the man. She ushers him inside, closing the door behind him.

Rory deserves a normal life, have a few kids of her own. She has every right to it, to dictate how her life goes. He doesn't want to interfere with that, she deserves more.

      DEAN ARRIVES BACK IN THE MOTEL ROOM, ACCORDING TO SAM THE VAMPIRES WERE dealt with, they can leave. "Where were you?" Sam asks, he has a feeling he knows exactly where Dean was.

"I went to her house." Dean says.

"Dean." Sam sighs his name.

"I know, Sam, I know. I didn't go in, I just sat there for hours, waiting for something to go wrong." Dean says.
    
"Dean, you can't just come back into her life again after everything." Sam tells him. Dean looks at him, knowing he's right. "She has a normal life, let her have a normal life." Sam says.

"She doesn't know about the vampires?" Dean asks him.

"No, Liz has kept it from her and Caroline, for now." Sam says looking at his brother cautiously. Sam saw how much it affected Dean leaving Rory behind, Sam saw how broken she was when he told her the news of his death. Dean nods and begins to pack his things.
