Lorelai Jamie Forbes, better known as Rory Forbes, adopted daughter of Liz and Bill Forbes and older sister to Caroline Forbes. Rory arrives back home from college, for a much needed break, and takes a job at the local bookstore run by Mrs.Adams. As the vampires in town start pouring in Rory learns the truth about those around her. Current and past secrets are revealed shaking everyone's beliefs and who they are to their core.
Rory Forbes has had the privilege of experiencing love by many different people, the first love of hers absolutely broke her. Rory Forbes knew that she would never be able to truly move on from Dean Winchester, a part of her would always love him.
Even when she was with Elijah, he knew he wasn't the first man she loved, she didn't speak of that heartache, and he didn't feel the need to ask her. They both had lives before the two met. Elijah broke up with Rory suddenly and left the poor girl to deal with her emotions, quicker than Katherine running from Klaus. This is the only the beginning of the story for Rory's introduction to the supernatural world.
