Dragonfly... A book of poems

Now I Believe

At times in my life,

I would become so alone,

That I fell into disbelief,

That God could care about me,

I feel like I was unimportant,

That everyone was out to get me,

It made me hurt so bad,

I wanted more proof of him,

I needed to know if he cared for me.

Then he showed me one day,

At first I was afraid,

Here ached out his hand to me,

Picked me up off the floor,

Carried me to safety,

He told me not to worry,

He was always working for me,

I began to believe,

In someone at one time I could not see,

I realized he was there for me,

I sang out in praise to him,

Oh, lord you saved me,

You brought me away from pain,

Now I can sing to him once again,

Then he came to me,

And blessed my heart with his grace,

He took my doubts and fears,

Replaced them with joyful tears,

He put a song in my heart,

To sing for all the world,

About how he saved me,

On that glorious day.

Yes, Now I believe!
