I sometimes feel as if the night is hurt by the day,
I fear that the sun is jealous of the moon,
How could mother earth share not with both,
The flowers could not grow with out the daily sun,
The ground would burn with out the nightly moon,
For each a role of great importance,
Neither of them a lesser part,
Together they make her whole,
The sun dries her tears,
The moon takes her fears,
The sun gives life,
The moon gives love,
The earth must have both to work,
Or she'll be left to hurt,
It is the battle mother earth must endure,
Till the day she becomes no more.
