A daughter can search,
High and low,
Far and wide,
Here and there,
But never find the one love,
That ways on her mind.
A daughter can go,
Threw her life,
And never find the one love,
That ways on her mind.
A daughter can date,
Every man on earth,
Or never talk to one at all,
She can get married,
But never find the one love,
That ways on her mind.
A daughter can be,
Sweet and happy,
All her life,
She can dread everything,
That goes wrong,
And never find the one love,
That ways on her mind.
A daughter can have,
Money and friends,
Or none at all,
She can own many pets,
Or never have one,
But never find the one love,
That ways on her mind.
A daughter can have,
A daughter of her own,
No matter what,
She will never find the one love,
That ways on her mind,
Unless,
She has a dad like you!
