When I am looking into your eyes,
No matter how hard I try,
I can not seem to form the words,
To make you understand,
How much I am hurting inside,
Not being able to call you mine,
I know you say it can not be,
Why, you must explain to me,
Just sit me down,
State your case,
Help me understand,
Why you don't take my hand,
The way you touch me,
Is not only sending me,
Mixed signals,
But it also,
Oversteps boundaries,
Maybe you can't see,
How your confusing me,
You had to cut into my sole,
Leave me to bleed,
I tried to get over you,
That's a battle, you see,
I just seem to loose.
There are no words to describe,
How important your friendship is,
That I just can't jeopardize,
It's so hard for me,
When I look into your eyes.
