My Love,
My fingers I work,
My socks stay damp,
My house is messy,
My pets are happy,
I'm home with you.
My clothes are shabby,
My dress my be old,
My dishes I wash,
My love let's dance,
Here at home with you.
The washer is broken,
Clothes piling up,
I don't care today,
Lets look at our garden,
At home with you.
A squeak calls out,
She wants to play too,
We can fill up the pool.
Let's pretend it's the beach,
Right here at home with you.
I see you working,
As I clean around you,
I know there are bills,
Honey, Lets watch a movie,
At home with you.
No need to go out,
I know how to cook.
No need for a drive,
We can't afford it anyways,
I'm at home with you.
It's Sunday love,
Grab a beer, the race is on.
I'll grab a soda and my headphones,
Let's cuddle on the couch,
At home with you.
My how the time ticks by,
When love lives in your house,
I have all I need,
Hey, I love you,
Happy at home with you.
Love always,
Me
