"I'm going to miss this place," Hazel said as she plopped down on my bed.

"I won't" I laughed as she stared at me sternly. I was in the process of packing my suitcase. "I'm kidding," I confirmed.

"Four years of the best memories," she replied. It was finally the end of a chapter. I couldn't believe how quickly the time had gone by. It was just the other day that I started Mainland's University. Just the other day I was a hopeless teen, searching for a place to belong. So glad those days are over with, I thought. Today was our last day on campus, both Hazel and I had decided that graduation was overrated so we didn't partake in the event. At this point all I wanted to do was see my family, and I know that Hazel shared the same feeling.

"Are you all packed?" I asked Hazel, who was lazing around like she had all the time in the world. Our flight was in a few hours.

"Unlike some people, I didn't waste all my free time with my boyfriend," Hazel averted her eyes into her phone.

"Oh please," I scoffed. "I'm going to miss him," I said defensively.

"Sophia stop exaggerating; you're only going to be away from him for a week."

"A week is a long time."

"You are such a drama queen." Hazel and I laughed.

"You want this?" I held up a dress for her.

"Can I have it?" Taylour said as she entered my room.

"Be my guest," I tossed it too her.

"Hey!!" Hazel said angrily as Taylour stuck her tongue out. Hazel rolled her eyes.

"Khan and I are done packing." Taylour said. After our second semester, as planned, Hazel, Taylour, Khan and I had applied for housing together and we were successful. Ever since then the four of us had been living together, and I had to admit, it was a smooth sailing transition.  "What time are you guys flight?" she asked us.

"At two" Hazel answered.

"Mine is at one." Taylour said.

"So the plan is the same right? We meet up a week from now." I asked.

"You know where to find me." Taylour answered. Taylour and Khan were flying back home. To our home. I was going back there too, however Hazel and I had a detour to make first. The plan was to fly over to her hometown and spend a week there, and then we would spend the rest of the summer at my hometown, where finally the whole gang would be there, including Sara and Alaric. We had been planning this for a long time, the most exciting part for me was that I was finally going to see my family after four years and also I couldn't wait to introduce them to my friends in person, I think this was going to be the most awesome summer. "Sara is going to be with you guys too right?"

"Yes she is taking a couple of days off from work, I'm so excited." Hazel exclaimed. We hadn't seen Sara in two years. After she left school, she used to travel to see us during vacation, but then she got a steady job, which stopped her from being able to move around so much.

"I wish I could be there," Taylour pouted.

"At least you'll be there when everyone is around." I said to her.

"Hey baby," Alaric entered the room. "Hey girls," he greeted everyone else and came to give me a hug.

"Hey sweetie," I replied as I gave him a hug.

"Smoothie for my queen," he handed me my favorite.

"I've been craving these so much," I said as I gave him a kiss.

"We are going to leave you guys too it. "Hazel said and she and Taylour left my room.

"Almost done?" he asked as he pulled me on to the bed with him.

"Mostly, I'm so nervous to go home, I miss my family so much."

"I couldn't imagine being away from mine for that long," Alaric said. I fixed myself on the bed as we laid face to face.

"Are you having second thoughts on me?" I asked him sternly.

"No," he giggled. Alaric was finally coming to meet my family, to be introduced to my life. "It's only a couple of weeks."

"And after?" I asked softly.

"We will figure it out," he kissed me gently.

"Sorry to disturb," Taylour knocked on the door. "A mail came in for you, and it looks fancy."

"What is this?" I sat up as I took the envelope from her. I opened it up, and gasped. Tears of joy came down my eyes as I read the words.

"What's wrong?" Alaric and Taylour asked. I cleared my throat as I read the words for them.

"You are cordially invited to the wedding for Asha and Stanley." Hazel ran into the room screaming.

"Stanley's getting married?!!" She exclaimed. Then we looked at each other excitedly.

"Stanley's getting married!!!!" I shouted out in exhilaration.
