Childhood best friend chpt: 23

Jaden picks me up and we go sit on the couch we start to watch a movie when josh and Bryce comes in and take Jaden up stairs.

About 5 minutes pass and he returns and sits next to me

You: jaeeeeee. Jaeeeeeeeeee. Jaeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

He doesn't talk to me. So I get up and sit in his lap and cuddle into him. He doesn't hug back he just sits there with me in his lap. I start to get annoyed so I walk into our room and sit on our bed.

Jaden's POV:

I pick Brooklyn up and take her to the couch. We begin to watch a film about 10 minutes in josh and Bryce say they need me so I walk upstairs behind them.

Josh: okay so let's prank Brooke

You: "how?" I question I don't want to make her mad

Bryce: "by you ignoring her" he grins making me chuckle

You: "why me we just made up" I sigh

Josh: "because she's closest to you" he says in a duh tone

We walk back downstairs. I walk to the couch's and sit near Brooke.

Brooke: "jaeeeeee jaeeeeeeeeee jaeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee" she whines

I want to hug her so bad

She looks sad and annoyed she comes and sits on my lap and snuggles she so cute wait no I can't say that- oh wait yeah I can she's my friend I'm allowed to say my friends cute right. but I can't hug her back. She sit there for a moment before getting up and walking to our room.

Bryce and josh comes in from the kitchen.

Josh: "how's it goingg" he says as he walks and sit beside me

You: "not good I wanna idk hug her she's mad at me now." I say pouting slightly

She comes downstairs and hugs me

Brooke: "hey Jae idk what I've done or if something just upset you and you don't wanna talk about it yet but when your ready to talk I'll be upstairs" she says slightly hurt that I'm ignoring her but when she says that my heart melts.

Bryce: "she's so sweet she's gonna wait for you to talk to her"

You: "when can I talk to her again" I ask hoping it is soon

Josh: "umm you started about 10 minutes ago so until" he checks his phone "20 to tomorrow"
(4:40 the time I'm writing this that's actually ten minutes ago 🤣)

Your POV:

I walk upstairs slightly hurt that he's not talking to me but I ignore it maybe something hurt him or he got bad news I decide to go downstairs

I walk downstairs and hug him

You: "hey Jae idk what I've done or if something  just upset you and you don't wanna talk about it yet but when your ready to talk I'll be upstairs" I say and walk upstairs.

I sit at jadens piano and continue to write your song you started. (The song at the top play it as you read the lyrics if your going to read them)
