We jumped through Greg as a thousand thoughts swirled in my head.

Has Aru changed? How can they capture a god? Is Aiden going to say something to Aru? Do I have time to make lasgana? How good is the other me's lasgana? Is my lasgana good enough?

"Brynne? You OK?" Aiden asked. Everyone was looking at me.

"O-Oh yeah, I'm fine." I stuttered. OK, I never stutter. Something is clearly wrong with me.

"Brynne you never stutter. Something is clearly wrong with you." Aru said, as if she were reading my thoughts. Well, that's because she was.

"Oops, wrong side of thought." I let out a fake laugh but everyone just continued staring at me.

"This is creepy." Mini said.

"Aah! I'm scared of this Brynne more than the other." Rudy jumped behind Mini and she blushed furiously.

"Guys, Brynne's just thinking." said Nikki.

"This is hard on all of us!" Sheela said.

"Including me." Aru said, raising her hand.

"But really. WHAT DOESN'T KILL YA MAKES YA STRONGER! STAND A LITTLE-" she started singing before Aiden held his hand up.

"Please stop." he pleaded.

"Fine." she huffed.

"This is one fine group is I do say so myself." said Amaru. I compltely forgot he was even there!

"Hey! You know, if Boo's a traitor and all, Amaru could be our new trainer!" Mini suggested.

"That's actually kinda true." said Aru.

"I would love to train Aiden. Aww. Thank you so much!" Amaru said.

"What?" Everyone asked, including Aiden.

"Aiden here does everything. The planning, the fighting, the keeping the group together part. It's almost like Aiden's the whole group." Amaru climbed onto Aiden's head as he said this.

"Uh no. Everyone is a part of this group, no matter what they do." I said.

They're the brains, they're the ammo or whatever. Everyone's a part." Aru added.

There was a pause and Amaru smiled.

"Good, you've past the test. I'd love to train all of you."

"THAT WAS A TEST?" We all asked at once.

"I wanted to see how good of a group you guys were." he explained.

Aru's mouth formed an 'o'.

"Also, Aru, I have a question," she looked up and I shifted. Her stare was piercing, but her brown eyes were warm. "The other girl. How good is her lasgana?" Everyone else but Aru smacked their forehead or sighed.

"No no, this is a serious question. The thing is, it's almost like you guys use the same recipie. Because they tasted exactly the same. I have a feeling like the others are like each of you, exactly the same, but the only difference is that they're not reincarnations of A Padanva of Pandava-adjacent, they don't have godly weapons, and they're not on the same side." she thought out loud.

"That means-"

"That means it'll almost be like fighting ourselves." Aru finished for Aiden.

"We need to tell the devas now!" Mini whisper-shouted.

The devas had arranged on their thrones were watching us.

"So, I see you've found Arundathi." Hanuman spoke first. Uloopi was holding her breathe as if she were trying to prevent herself from doing something.
