To the chapter of the battle in COG.
I'm not putting a header because I'm lazy.
Goodbye
Get ready to cry.
Oh that rhymes...
(Aru P.O.V)
---
Boo floated down and all of us screamed his name.
He made no movement.
It's all my fault. If only-
My thoughts were interrupted by Amaru, who barked and started charging towards Boo's lifeless body.
"Amaru!" Amaru ignored me and continued.
Spears came down on the spots he had been seconds ago, as he leaped and gracefully landed next to Amaru's body.
Am I watching a ballet recital?
Kara touched the back of her neck gently and looked at me with fear in her eyes.
"The Sleeper's coming." I said.
"How do you know?" Brynne asked.
"This helps me know when he's near." Kara showed Brynne the back of her neck.
"Oh great." Brynne mumbled.
Then there he was.
He was dressed regally, nothing like for a battle, and picked up Amaru with just a hand. Amaru twisted and squirmed in his touch but nothing happened.
The Sleeper smiled evily, "So this is Amaru..You didn't care to give your dear old dad a proper introduction, Aru?"
"You're not my dad." I sneered.
"Well I'm a guardian aren't I? Why didn't I recieve an invite to the conference?" he squished Amaru's body and Amaru let out a wheeze.
"You're killing him." Kara said, her voice breaking with her eyes as wide as saucers.
"I won't if you come back." Kara squinted, as if she was trying to see through the lie.
"Kara.." I said, trailing off.
She took a step back, and The Sleeper looked angry, choking Amaru again.
"Stop." Kara said.
The Sleeper raised an eyebrow, "Did you just command me to do something?" he asked.
Kara's lip trembled.
"Please, just let him go."
The Sleeper smiled evily, and before I could process his next move, he grabbed a spear from one of his men, and stabbed it into-
the ground.
Amaru's neck was at the tip of the sharp blade, and he closed his eyes.
The Sleeper dropped Amaru on the spear, and Amaru didn't even try-
He was impaled with the blade and Kara and I screamed.
"AMARU!"
Amaru..was dead....
---
I stared at the new egg, that the new reincarnated version of Boo would soon hatch from.
"What about Amaru?" I asked happily. Amaru had probably reincarnated too, right?
Urvashi looked down, "I'm sorry Aru, but, spirit animals, they don't- they aren't reborn." she said.
My eyes widened.
"So. Amaru. He's actually..gone?"
Urvashi nodded.
The whole world stilled.
Amaru was gone.
Every single moment, the training, the stories, they all flashed through my head, playing like something to torture me mentally.
My feet started moving and I starting running away. Tears streamed down my face and I finally stopped running once I was outside.
Aru? Mini asked through the mind link.
I need some time. Alone. I answered.
Amaru was gone...
Forever..
I am your do- I CAN'T EVEN SAY IT ANYMORE! WHY AM I SO CRUEL!
I needed a way to get rid of Amar-
*cries*
I'm sorry, the chappie is really short but-
I wanted to make the sadness shorter.

Better things will come.
I'm going to do a short headcanon on the next chapter because I don't wanna write the whole thing-
So yeah..
