I busted down the wall, returning to my normal form.

I felt fine.

I thought I would feel this sort of 'Ugh, I'm drained, catch me' feeling. But instead it was a 'I feel like the sun just gave all of it's shine to me' feeling.

It felt good.

Now the only thing to do was find Amaru and then go to Home Depot.

What? Home Depot was the first thing that came to my mind!

And Amaru was the whole reason I was out of that torture place.

It kind of hurt that the Jaden, Camryn, Tikita, and Sheela didn't believe in me and trusted the word of The Sleeper.

But that wasn't the point here.

The point here was Amaru.

Amaru had explained to me, that I had special powers. I know, I was 'What in the world are you talking about?' But its true. I have awesome lightning powers (like Thor), the ability to control the four elements (I feel like a mashed up version of the GODS), and the most amazing of them all, I can turn into a dragon. Yes, that's right, a dragon. And Amaru was the one who helped me with all of this (which makes me feel like Mal, the daughter of Malificent).

This was the life.

Amaru had shown me where he lived. Some sort of swamp thing.

And Amaru, you're probably wondering what he is by now. Amaru is a spirit dog.

My spirit dog to be exact. All the Pandavas that are the reincarnation of Arjuna get one... eventually.

Took me a while to unlock my powers but that has nothing to do with it.

It actually has a lot to do with it.

I had been walking for probably 15 minutes now, but I could feel Amaru's aura getting stronger.

He was surely here somewhere.

The grass was starting to get more wet and muddier so I was definitely near a swamp. The mud started getting thicker and then, eventually, as everyone would if they were walking on mu, I slipped. And landed on my butt.

"Really?" I muttered under my breath. I heard something making those cringy squishing sounds in the dirt and slowly took Vajra out of my pocket.

"Aru?" said a small squeaky voice. An animal with purple and white fur domed over my face.

"Amaru?" I said grinning. Amaru's face melted into a smile.

"Aru!"

"Amaru!" I stood up and he leaped into my arms.

"ARU!!!!"

"AMARU!!!!!!"

That may or may not have gone on for a while.

That went on for like... 5 minutes.

What? Don't judge.

"You finally got out of there!" he exclaimed.

"Yeah, and punched the Sleeper in the face like, 2 times!" I said so that only Amaru could hear. He stifled a laugh.

"And your friends?"

"Which ones, Pandavas or Sleeper?" I asked.

"Both."

"Well, the Sleeper kids betrayed me," his face was shocked at this point," and the Pandavas tried to rescue me but I rescued myself and then sent them off to Home Depot." I said.

He smirked.

"Home Depot, really?"

"It's the best place on Earth! What do you mean, 'really?'!" I said, sounding offended.

"Anyways, Aru, we're going there now?"

"Yeah." I said, feeling a little hurt from Amaru's comment.

"Hey, I'm sorry, probably while we're going there, I can tell you my story?"

"YES!" I exclaimed. I really wanted to hear Amaru's story.

"OK, so it all began a millenia ago.

I was born in the swamp to the most prestigious family there. They were known for accomanying many heroes on their quests. I was supposed to fit in, but it seemed like I was always the odd one out. And everyone guessed it was from my purple fur.

Most of the spirit dogs were red, yellow, or orange. But I was neither. So there were so many rumors going around home about me. Eventually, I left. My parents were even disgusted by me. So, after hours of traveling, I came across the swamp, where everyone was different, and I didn't need to be afraid of being left out.

But during my years there, things started holding me back. Another animal came in, bigger, stronger, and with her friend. This was when I started getting bullied again. And then, me, my best friend, and those two, had to go on a mission to find an artifact that was stolen. We returned, and well, we all became friends.

Then after that, two more animals, twins, came into my life. Everyone was frantic to protect them, since they were younger than most of us. And then, we realized one of the artifacts of the swamp were fake, so then again, we had to go and save it. But there were so many things holding me back, my legacy, my life, my parents, my hometown. What would they think? This all terrified me. Eventually, I was in a trance and on the enemy's side. My friends tried to rescue me but I broke my way out, through you. Teaching you how to to use your powers unlocked mines, and then my mission ended because of my new career."

I blinked.

"That sounds a lot like my story, except for the ending part." I remarked.

"And that's why we go together Aru. Aru, what is the most important thing to you about being a Pandava?" He asked me.

"I-I actually feel like I belong." I answered.

"Exactly, and it was the same thing to me. Get it?"

"Yeah."

We walked in silence for a while and I noticed that the sun was setting fast, and soon, the place would be swarming with monsters. My friends would be in danger soon as well.

"Amaru, I think we need to take the faster way now." I said to my spirit animal.

"Aru, I don't think we should, you've already used up a lot of energy trying to free yourself and your friends."

"Amaru, its the only way."

I thrust my hands out to the sides and a clear bubble engulfed us. It slowly rose of the grass.

"You've really learned how to be strong haven't you?"

"What doesn't kill you makes you stronger."

"Movie quotes?"

"It's actually a song."

"I feel so wise."

"Well then, drop the wisdom act..... now."

And we slowly made out way to Home Depot.

The best place on the world and you know it people.
