"Why did you say a gas tank is your favorite animal?" McNamara asked JD. "Because my dad has a bunch of them in the garage. I thought they were animals." "Your dad is mean." Veronica said. "Yeah."

"My dad went to get cigarettes 2 years ago." JoJo said. "He hasn't come home yet, I hope he finds them soon."

"My dad left when I was 2." Alex said. "He used to yell at my mommy a lot. He was really mean."

"My dad has spent 3 years looking for the best milk to bring home, I love him." Kitty said. "I hope he finds it." Cleves said. "Me too."

"My daddy left my mommy for another woman." Evan said. "She wasn't even that pretty."

"My dad doesn't wear pants." Jeremy said. "What's your dad like, Micheal?" "What's a dad?" "What's your mom like, Micheal?" Rich asked. "Which one?"

"My dad died when I was 1." Crutchie said. "My dad died too." Jack said. "Wow, same." Henry said.

It was time for recess. "Crutchie, give me the swing!" Veronica said. "No! You're mean!" "I've been so nice to him, and this is how he repays me!" "You have never been nice to me!" "Have too!" "You have not!" "HAVE TOO!" Crutchie and Veronica started arguing.

Albert took the swing while they were arguing. Race was trying to eat sand, and making Aaron mad. Thomas and Alex started fighting.

"Stop insulting wolves Thomas!" "What are you gonna do, tell your mommy?" All the kids jaws dropped. Even Mr. Washington was shocked.

Alex growled, and pounced on Thomas. He started scratching and biting him. Mr. Washington grabbed Alex. "Alex, stop it!" "He's mean!" "Okay, I'm taking these two to the principal's office, everyone stay here."

"Anne would've loved to see that." Kitty said. "Is Thomas okay?" James asked. "Who cares?" Charles said. "He's my best friend! Stop being such a big meanie all the time!" Charles shoved him over, and threw his blankie in the mud. James started crying. "You're such a big baby!"

"Hey JoJo! I found a bee!" Elmer said. "Let me taste it!" JoJo ate the bee. "It tastes like potatoes." "Wow." Elmer said.

"Okay kids, back inside." "Why are you crying?" Thomas asked James. "Charles was being mean to me, and he pushed me, and he threw my blankie in the mud." Thomas pulled James into a hug. "He's mean. I'm sorry." "It's okay." James and Thomas went back inside together.
