"So, you made the first sub quit. How'd you do for the other one?" "He was JD's dad!" Jack said. "Yeah, he was mean." Crutchie said.

"He said a lot of words I've never heard." Duke said.

"He showed us a movie, but these two people were naked!" Chandler said.

"He said my drawing was terrible!" Evan said.

"He said no one cares when I tried to introduce myself!" Davey said.

"He threw a desk at me!" Aaron said. "That was Connor." Martha said. "Oh."

"He choked me, and he choked JD too!" Connor said. "I'm used to all this." JD said. "You guys's dads don't do this stuff?" "No!" Everyone shouted. "Oh..." "JD, come with me." Mr. Washington took JD to his office.

After a little while, they came back. "Okay class, today you're going to do show and tell."

"I brought an acorn, since I'm a squirrel." Angelica said. "Okay then."

"I brought my ladybug bottle!" Eliza said. "Aren't they all dead?" Thomas said. "Shut up!" "Don't say that!" Evan said.

"I brought a bag of sand." Aaron said, shoving some sand in his mouth. "Aaron! Don't eat that!" "But it tastes good!" He took the bag of sand.

"I brought a bath bomb!" Jared said. "Can I eat it?" "No!"

"I brought my pet fish, Percy!" Katherine H. said. "Wait, you didn't put it in water?" Mr. Washington said. "I had to?" "Yes! Fish will die if they aren't in water!" "Oh, is he dead?" "Yes." She broke down in tears, and all the kids started screaming. "Can we have a funeral for him?" "Sure, we can do that at recess."

Once everyone calmed down, it was Jane's turn. "I brought my hello kitty pillow!"

"I brought my build a bear frog!" Katherine P. said. "His name is Griffin!"

"I brought my blankie!" James said.

"I forgot to bring anything, but I found a leaf on the ground, so I guess that's my thing." Lafayette said. "Leaves are nice. It's like free lettuce."

"I brought a rock." Cleves said. "I found it on the sidewalk."

"I brought my stuffed monkey, Atlas!" Katherine A. said. "I got him when I was 2!"

"I didn't bring anything." Charles said.

"I brought my stuffed wolf, Bear." Alex said. "He hasn't been washed in 2 years, so he smells bad, but I still love him." "Why is it named Bear if it's a wolf?" Duke asked. "I don't know."

"I brought Wolf. He's my teddy bear. I sleep with him every night." Crutchie said. "That's a bear, not a wolf!" Chandler said. "Oh."

"I brought a stick of butter." Connor said. "Why?" "I like butter." "Okay then."

"I brought my stuffed cat, Cypress." Evan said. "That's my favorite kind of tree."

"I brought my stuffed fox, Cedar. She's missing an ear, but I love her anyway." Chandler said. "She has a bow, but it's in the laundry right now."

"I brought my stuffed whale, Fox." Jack said. "But that's a whale, not a fox!" McNamara said. "Nobody cares!" Jared yelled.

"I brought my stuffed unicorn, Ursa!" Martha cheered. "I've had her since I was a baby."

"I brought this picture of me when I was a baby!" Peggy said.

"I brought this brick!" JD said. "It's from a building my dad blew up!" "Okay, moving on." Is this kid okay?

"I brought my dog's collar." McNamara said. "What's your dog's name?" "Mr. Washington asked. "His name was Aries, he died last year." "Oh, I'm sorry."

"I brought my rat plush." Duke said. "I named it Gemini."

"I brought Mac and cheese!" Thomas said. "It's my favorite food."

"I brought my stuffed horse, Hercules Jr. I named him after myself." Hercules said.

"I brought my stuffed turtle, Milo." John said. "Milo doesn't like Alex, but he's my best friend, so he has to deal with it. Milo isn't very nice. But I love him."

"I brought my stuffed fish, Caspian." Veronica said. "He's actually alive, unlike Percy." "Shut up Veronica!"

"I brought a plush spider. I named him Alaric. I got him last Halloween." Davey said.

"I brought my stuffed penguin, Mars." Maria said. "He's shy, but nice once you get to know him."

"Okay kids, snack time. We'll have a funeral for Percy after that." Everyone ate their snacks, and then it was time for the funeral.
