They finally arrived in Demacia and it didn't take Serana long to track down her long lost friend, Blair Silvermere.
Blair owns her own tavern in the city center, which made it easy for Serana to recognize the tavern name of Silvermere.
Serana and Blair were childhood friends, Blair grew up in Ionia, but she was seeking more than the peaceful day to day living that Ionia had to offer. She always tried to convince Serana to leave Ionia and come with her, but with no luck.
Finally being reunited with her childhood friend, Blair had welcomed Serana and Lyra with open arms.
It was a difficult adjustment for both Serana and Lyra, Lyra had to hide her appearance with a hooded robe whenever she went outside, so the Demacian guards wouldn't recognize her as a Sorceress. While still trying to deal with her father's death and the fact that she doesn't know if Sett and his mom are alive or not. It has been very hard for them both, but luckily they had a roof above their heads and someone who would help them until they can survive on their own.
Ten years later and Lyra is now a beautiful young women. Serana is working as a personal advisor for a very wealthy and influential man, and is recieving a fair amount of gold for her services. Lyra has been working in her aunt Blair's tavern since she turned eighteen.
They never got a home of their own since Blair enjoyed them living with her so much that she never wanted them to move out, she finally had some form of family again. And that is exactly what they became, Blair treated Lyra like her own daughter and has thought Lyra a few spells in secret over the years, Serana wasn't to pleased, fearing for her daughter to be caught doing magic, but she eventually made peace with it and knew that Lyra has to much potential for it to be waisted.
After work Srana would go and have a drink at the Sivermere tavern with Blair and Lyra, it became a tradition to meet there and speak about everyone's day, and just simply spend some time together. They became a inseparable family and Serana and Lyra has finally found new happiness after all they've lost.
Serana's POV
Another day of work behind me , I truly do enjoy my job, it was unusual for a man to seek wisdom from a women but Sir Callan , the man I advise, seemed to love listening to me. I've been working for him for five years now and sometimes I wonder if he sees me as more than just his advisor, but he would never try to court with me since he knows the pain I held deep inside for the death of my husband. But still I can't help going red in the face at his now and then kind words.
As usual I go to the tavern after work, it's not just a tavern for us, it's a family business and our second home. Even Lyra has been helping out as a bartender since she was eighteen, and I must say she has become very good at her job.
As I come through the tavern door, I was met by the familiar smell of alchohol, lavender and oak wood. It was a well known tavern and alot of the more wealthy people came here, so Blair was very specific on keeping the place clean and fresh.
I walk up to the bar and spot my beautiful daughter pouring a drink for a quite handsome looking man, I can see he thinks she's very attractive as well since he was watching her every move as she moves her hands quickly and confidently while mixing his drink.
Lyra sees me and smiles and then start to make her way to me "This place is quite busy tonight, isn't it?" I ask.
"Yes but not busy enough for me not to prioritize my mother" she answers while giving me a soft smile.
"What will it be Mom ?""You can surprise me dear, your taste is anyway better than mine." I like testing her bartending skills so every now and again I let her be creative with my drink.
After watching her flip, spin and pour different color liquids into different cups, I finally received my drink, it was three different shades of red, "What's this poison called" I say while letting out a giggle.
"Bloodthirster, it might be a bit strong so take it slow" She laughs obviously entertained by the face I pulled while taking my first sip.
A short while later Blair joined us , we laughed, ate and drank until there was nobody left in the tavern but us.
Lyra's POV
"Alright mothers, it's time to go home. Unless you two prefer feeling like death in the morning." I said humorously, while looking at the two of them slouching on the bar counter.
After finally getting them up and going we mad your way home , luckily we didn't live far away from the tavern, otherwise this task would've been nearly impossible for me.
