Blair's POV

The breakfast did me good and after a long relaxing bath I felt fresh enough to go to the tavern.

I am actually so grateful for Lyra, she has been helping alot more then I give her credit for.

I got dressed and made my way out the house and to the tavern, on entry I was shocked to see that there was nobody and the door was closed when I arrived, "Lyra? , are you here girl?, where is everyone?"

But no response, something didn't feel right. I peaked outside before slowly closing the door behind me, I can use a spell to see footprints if they're no older than twenty minutes.
I wave my hand towards the bar and a few steps in front of me appeared two sets of footprints, the one set clearly Lyra's and the other is rather big so definitely a man. Judging by the unusual movements of the footprints something was definitely not right here.

Unless Lyra decided to send off all our clients to get frisky with some man, but I highly doubt it, Lyra isn't the type to do something like that , I've never even seen her with a man and she's almost twenty-one.

So now the worst imagines started flooding my mind, was she taken against her will ? Since the door was closed but not locked and the footprints goes from two pairs to only the man's footprints. Which indicates that she was probably picked up and carried out.

I have to get to Serana and let her know what's going on, and then we need to find out what happened to Lyra.

I rushed to get to Serana's work place, it was a beautiful building with plants everywhere, the man she works for is obviously very wealthy.

On entry I requested to speak to Serana and moments later she arrived, she seemed rushed and distressed. She grabbed my hands , I can see tears fill her eyes which instantly gave me a knot in my stomach. Before I could ask her what's wrong she says."Lyra has been arrested, some undercover guard was sent to investigate her".

I was shocked "They would arrest a young women so easily without question?" I couldn't comprehend this , the rumors about the prisons are scary enough and to imagine our Lyra in one of them is making me loose my mind.

"How do you know about this Serana?" I ask.

"My boss has connections and when he found out where the arrest took place he told me, but don't worry our secret is safe with him... I hope" She answered, in destress. Her eyes fall to the ground as she continues.
"He's going to try and pay for her release, but he mentioned that it's hard sometimes, especially because of her being a sorceress, Demacia has no tolerance to any form of magic, no matter how innocent".
