(Yoongi POV)

Yanna is very peculiar. She likes puppies, and prefers walks on the beach instead of studying for her exam the next morning. The girl is brave for walking those school halls everyday, especially with all the crappy looks those students give her. I've never seen one person remain so optimistic when their life is literally falling apart minute by minute.

It's been almost a week. I've sat with Yanna everyday. I've walked with her, talked with her, ate lunch with her, ran gym with her, basically everything. I don't leave her side. I mean, those are my orders. Chief told me to make her trust me. So far I think she does. She tells me unnecessary things like what she had for breakfast, and what she understood about Math class today, and how colorful she thought the poster on the event board was. Don't girls tell you useless stuff when they like you? Or am I making that up? Either way, she doesn't leave my side. But that's a good thing... if I can see it that way.

Today is just like any other. I wake up before the sun.

"Here goes another day." I sigh as I sit up.

I think I'm doing a good job. Seems like Yanna trusted me enough for a first week. I'm pretty sure this mission will be easy enough from here on out-- but I'm still dreading it.

I still don't understand exactly what I'm protecting her from. I wish the Chief would have given me more information. Usually, I don't pry and try to get more details about the mission than what I'm initially given, but in this case, I really wish I had.

The Chief wasn't wrong when he told me this mission was different. I'm not used to... not killing my target. Protecting sure is a whole different ball game, but I think I can do this. If anything I want to prove that I can complete any assignment given to me. No matter the requirements.

I just hate school. Yanna isn't so bad, I guess... she sure is difficult though. She says every thing that comes to her head, and she shows every emotion she has with her facial expressions. No wonder she's so sensitive; she wears her heart on her sleeve. Brave girl.

I got dressed a little slower than normal this morning-- can you tell how excited I am about going back to school? I'm basically bouncing off the walls.

I step outside into the brisk wind, strap a small, black mask over my face, and start my morning run to the school grounds.

"Here we go, Yoongi. Orders are orders. You can do this. Keep her safe."

~~~~~~~~
I walk into the school and pull my mask off, instantly looking for my target-- I mean... Yanna.
"Alright, there she is by the locker again. Better put on a good face, Yoongi. No matter how much you don't like her, you gotta make her trust you. It's all about her safety."
I sigh before plastering the realest smile I can onto my face and waving, "Yanna!" I call out to her.
She looks up from the stack of books in her arms and sees me. As soon as our eyes make contact, I start jogging to her.
Her cheeks turn a light shade of pink... is she embarrassed I called out to her? Either way it doesn't matter as long as my orders are carried out.
"What's up?" I ask in a friendly tone once I reach her.
"Just grabbing my Math book. How are you?" She says with a small smile.
"I'm good." I comment and nod awkwardly, "Guess what?"
She raises her eyebrows as if to oblige with, "What?"
"You look beautiful today."
Okay, okay, stop freaking out. I got used to doing this kind of stuff a few days ago. Yanna always does the same thing... she giggles and then pokes my arm before saying something really cringe worthy.
