Chapter 20

A/n: don't own any of the characters from Naruto only the ones I make up. And this is the first time I got past 11 chapter for a book. I am proud of myself and I also wanted to thank my readers for reading and remember to please comment and vote it is much appreciated. Enjoy this chapter.

Kamiko pov

3 days later we finally saw the gates for the leaf. "Hey Naruto, Saskue, and Sakura let's have a race to see who can get to the gates first."

"Ok you're on!" They all said. We all started to run. I was in the lead for a little until Saskue caught up to me that is.

"You're so slow." He smirked and ran ahead of me. I ran as fast as I could but I still only came in second. Naruto came in third and Sakura came in last.

"That was fun!" I said when Kakashi finally caught up with us. 'Old people problems.' Thinking to myself. As if he read my mind he hit me on my head.

"I am not old yet." He scolded me.

"I am sorry! Hey Naruto don't we have a date tonight?"

"Yeah! Believe it." He said while laughing. "Come on let's go!" He grabbed my arm and dragged me away from everyone else. We were walking around the village to head off to ichuraku. Once we got there we ordered our food.

"Hi Naruto and Kamiko." Iruka told us as he sat down next to Naruto.

"Hi Iruka. How's the new students been?" I asked him.

"They are great. They are very nice. So how was your mission?"

"Let's just say it wasn't a C ranked mission. And there was a lot of fighting. But don't worry we kicked their asses!"

"That's good to hear. The ramen is on me tonight." He told us. That made me and Naruto beam with happiness. We both gave him a hug and we talked about that happened on the mission.

"Well I am headed out." I told them. Naruto was on his forth bowl of ramen. I only had about 2 bowls of ramen. Walking back to my empty house to wait for Kakashi to come because he said he wanted to ask me something. 'Wonder what he wants to know about me?' Thinking as I walked home.

When I got home I looked at the clock and it said that it was 9:30. 'He is late but so am I.' I went to my room to put away my cloths and start my laundry. When I was done with cleaning the house it was about 10:30. 'He is so late but that's nothing new I guess.' I went to the TV room and turned on the tv to Hanna Montana. Hey can't blame me for watching it because there is nothing else on.

Around 11 I heard my door bell.'about time he showed up!' Thinking bitterly to myself. I walked up to my door and saw Kakashi standing there. "Took you long enough!"

"Sorry the meeting with the hokage took longer than I was expecting."

"It doesn't matter now anyways so please come inside and make yourself comfortable. Do you want anything to eat or drink?"

"Thanks. I would like some hot chocolate  and if you have any chocolate chip cookies that would be nice." He told me as he took a place on my couch. I walked into the kitchen and started to boil some water. While that was boiling I went looking for some chocolate chip cookies. Once I found then I placed them on a tray and 2 mugs with hot chocolate.

I walked into the TV room and set then down on the table. I handed him his hot chocolate. "Thank you again."

"So what do you want to ask me about?" Asking him so he can get right to the point.

"Oh remember when Naruto went crazy?"

"Yeah I do. What does that have to do with me?" I asked him as I sat down on the couch.

"You ended up having some power that I don't know about. Do you know what that power was?"

"Umm no I don't Know what that power was but it wasn't evil like Naruto's."

"Ok that's all I wanted to know. Oh one more thing where did you learn that ice claw justu?"

"Oh I met a ninja in the woods that day I left the table to walk outside. He taught me the justu."

"Ok thanks Kamiko."  He got up to leave.

"Wait Kakashi do you want to stay and watch a movie with me? It's not often when I get visitors." He stopped and turned around and went back to the couch.

"So what movie should we watch?"

"Umm I want to watch the vow. If that is alright with you?"

"Sure why not. It looks like a good movie." I went up and got the movie and started to play it. Half way through the movie Kakashi was asleep. 'Old man!' I finished watching the movie.

Walking to the closest to grab a blanket for Kakashi. I put it over him and turned off the lights. "Sleep tight Kakashi." Whispering from the hallway.

When I woke up I smelled pancakes, bacon and eggs.' Smells good!' Getting up from my bed and walking down the hallway to where the kitchen is and I saw Kakashi cooking.

"Morning Kakashi. Why are you in my kitchen and cooking with my food?"

"Oh good morning Kamiko. It's a thank you for letting me sleep on your couch."  He told me as he handed me a plate with 2 pancakes, 3 pieces of bacon and some scrambled eggs.

"Thanks for the food. It looks delicious." I said digging in to the food. It was very good.'didn't know he could cook.'

"Well I will be going now after I wash the dishes." He told me while grabbing my plate that was now clear of all food.

"Thank you again Kakashi."

"No problem." He said as he went into the kitchen and started to wash the dishes. "I am done with the dishes and I should be going. We should do this again because it was fun."

"Yeah it was a lot of fun." I then waved him goodbye. Today team 7 had a break from the missions. So I went back inside and watched a marathon oh Kim possible. I heard a knock at my door and I saw that it was Sakura.

"Hi Sakura. What brings you to my lovely house?"

"I wanted to know if you wanted to go shopping with me."

"Sure let me get dressed and please come inside while you wait for me."

"Ok she came inside and started to watch Kim possible.  I went to my room and got on my outfit which consisted of black leggings and a t-shirt with a pink heart right in the middle. I put on my pink saddles and went to the living room.
