Chapter 21

Kamiko pov

"You ready Sakura?" I asked her from the door way she just nodded her head and followed me outside. "So why do you want to go shopping with me anyways?"

"We are apart of the same team and I don't know you that much and wanted to learn more about you."

"Ok makes sense." We headed to lots of clothing stores and we both shopped until we couldn't anymore. "That was a lot of fun Sakura."

"Yeah it was. Remember Kakashi wants to meet us on the bridge for our missions tomorrow" she told me and walked off. I walked to my house. Once I got home I made dinner.

The next day I woke up and went to the hokage's office. Running on top of the buildings so I am not seen. Once I got there I knocked on the door. "Come in." Is all he said.

Walking in the office I saw a lot of jonin there. 'What did I just walk into?' Thinking to myself. "Sorry lord Hokage I can come later." Bowing and closing the door and running down the hallway. 'That was so pathetic.' Mentally yelling at myself.

Hokage's pov

"Hello every one. Now you all must be wondering why I called all of you guys here." They all just nodded their heads. "Well the chunin exams are coming up soon but before the chunin exams there will be a friendly contest in our village."

"So you want to have a contest." Kakashi stated.

"Exactly! Any team can enter the contest."

"Ok so how will this go down?" Assume asked. Just than Kamiko came bursting through the door.

"Sorry lord hokage. I can come later." She bowed and ran away closing the door. Everyone just sighed.

"Kakashi how did your team do during the mission?"

"They did a good job. They all have grown a lot."

"What about team 8 and 9?"

"We have grown a lot since our first mission." Asuma and Kurenai both said at the same time.

"Hmmm" thinking deeply to myself. "You all may go." Turning my chair to face my window. 'Team 7,8,and 9 have all grown very strong. Maybe those are the teams that will participate.' Thinking to myself.

Everyone left except for Kakashi. "Yes Kakashi."

"Do you think the power of the nine tails will come out again?" He asked me. Turning my chair around to face him.

"Maybe. There is a possibility that it could but the seal is just lose it will be a long time until the seal breaks."

"That is good to know. What about Kamiko?"

"Kamiko I have no clue about." Telling him honestly.

"What is she?" He asked me.

"She is a human just like me and you. She is a leaf ninja." Telling him with my hands folded.

"Ok bye Lord Hokage." He said then left.

Kamiko pov

It's been an hour and a half since I walked into the group of jonin. Walking back to the hokage's office I kept thinking about what that little meeting was about.

Once I got there I knocked on the door."excuse me!" Saying and walking in. This time it was just the Hokage.

"What did you need Kamiko?"

"I can't come and talk to you?"

"You can but is there a real reason you came?"

"Nope I just wanted to chat with you. So how's it going?"

"I am good Kamiko. I heard from Kakashi that team 7 has grown kind of strong."

"You heard correct. Naruto has grown up some but not a lot."

"That's good to hear." He said. "Don't you have to meet your team now?"

"Yeah but Kakashi is always late so I have time to kill." He just chuckled.

"You have a point there."

"When don't I have a good point?" Asking him while tilting me head slightly.

"I don't know Kamiko."

"Ok good to hear well now I should go or else Sakura will have my head on a plater if I am late."

"Bye Kamiko and good luck." Smirking as he said that.

I walked out of the office and went right to the bride where everyone was sitting down on the ground. "Hi guys."

"You're late!" Naruto shouted at me.

"I had things to do what can I say." Shrugging my shoulders. Sitting down on the ground and I started to doze off until I sensed Kakashi.

"YOU ARE LATE KAKASHI!" Sakura and Naruto both yelled at the same time almost making me go deaf. Getting up I smacked them both on the back of their heads.

"What was that for?" They both asked me holding their heads.

"You both were yelling so loud I could have gone deaf!" When I said that I got a smirk from both Kakashi and Saskue. 'Emo is doing his normal thing.'

"Well now that I am here I have something to tell you all." Naruto bolted up and ran over to where Kakashi was standing.

"Are we going on another C-ranked mission?" He asked.

"Nope. I just came from the hokage's office and there is going to be a contest just for fun any team can enter the contest. But there is a catch with the contest the contest isn't going to be in the leaf village even though it's only the leaf's contest. The hokage thought it would be fun to hold it in the land of waves because of the mission we went on. It would give the village some publicly."

"Cool so do we get to see Inari again?" I asked him.

"Yes we will. We will be staying with them again." Now it was my turn to bolt up and do a high pitch squeal of happiness. Hey you can't blame me I like the dude and I was wondering if I would run into Viro.

Stopping jumping up and down I though about a good question to ask Kakashi. "I know it's giving the village more publicity but can't we just tell the other villages about the land of waves that way we don't have to travel to the land of waves?"

"That was a very good question Kamiko. The reason being is because there is no ninja's there so if the ninja villages knew about the village one might try to take over it like Gato did. And the other reason for holding the contest there is for while we are traveling we can train."

"That is a great idea that they had." Sakura said to Kakashi.

" it was a good idea that they had." Now I was getting excited for the contest."
