Chapter 23

Sakura pov

I was the first person to watch for the night. " I hate kamiko so much. Sasuke has to always take her side! It's like she has him under a spell. I am just acting like I like her because I want to be a good ninja." I ranted to myself.

There is nothing else to do but to rant to myself about her and him. Naruto is kind of useless. All he does is cause trouble and he isn't a good ninja. He doesn't use his head at all. He has some good ideas like with the fight with Zabuza the first time around. But other than that he is stupid. He has the potential to become a good ninja but I can't really see it at the moment."

I must have been thinking for a long time until I heard kamiko voice calling for me.

"Sakura it's my turn to watch. Get some sleep because we are waking up early in the morning to travel." She said.

"Ok thanks for telling me." I hopped from the tree branch I was on and went into the tent and went to sleep.

Kamiko pov

"Sakura it's my turn to watch. Get some sleep because we are waking up early in the morning to travel." I said.

"Ok thanks for telling me." She hopped from the tree branch She was on and went into the tent and went to sleep.

I heard everything she was saying and I don't really care if she doesn't like me. I don't care if Sasuke happens to pick me over her annoying self. I can't blame him.

I was sitting waiting until I heard a bush rattle. I got into my digging stand and got ready to fight.

A ninja who didn't look much older than me hopped out and threw some shuriken at me. Doing a back flip to doge them. "Fire ball justu." He said.

I couldn't see what he looked like because it was so dark outside. The thing that was off about him was that he was aiming for out tent with all of the food and then he amied for the tents.

Naruto woke up and so did everyone else who was wondering what was going on. "Guy get ready to fight!" Shouting at them.

"Oh ok believe it!" Naruto said. The opponent just sweat dropped and continued to attack us.  "Shadow clone Justu." Naruto said. His shadow clones charged for the person who easily destroyed them in a matter of seconds.

"What does he want?" Sakura asked me.

"I have no clue maybe Ninja a attacking other ninjas" I said while defecting a kunai that was amied for my head.  She simply nodded. Taking out another kunai I threw it at his shoulder and it hit him in the shoulder blade. He fell to the ground and sasuke flash stepped behind him and knocked him out. Sakura tied him up because she is surprisingly good at tying.

The fire was put out so i asked Sasuke to relight it with a fire ball justu. Which he did. We looked around the camp and found that everything was ruined. All of the tents and all of our food was gone and the only thing that was still in one piece was the map. 'How odd why not destroy the map too unless it was someone using this to make the test harder on us.' Thinking to myself.

Glancing at Sakura and Sasuke they had the same look on their face. They must have been thinking the same thing as us. While Naruto was crying over the lost roman. "Naruto there is no need to cry over stuoid roman!" Sakura punched him over the head.

"But all of our food is gone and he have no shelter." He complained.

"Stupid we can make our own shelter every night and catch our own food!" Sasuke said to Naruto as he did the fire ball justu to burn what was left of things. "We can survive out in the woods with out all of this shit."

"Sasuke is right Naruto." Sakura just had to agree with him.

"Let's just sleep and get going in the morning." I told them. "But it's not worth crying about now."

"Ok Kamiko." They all said with the exception from Sasuke who just said "hm"

Waking up in the morning with the sun shinning on my face was a nice treat for me. In the distance I saw Sakura and Sasuke.

"Morning you guys." Walking up to them.

"Morning Kamiko." Sakura said to me while Sasuke just said "wake up the loser for me will you?"

Glaring at him and he glared back which caused Sakura to glare at me so it was just one big glaring contest. Turning my head and sighing I went to wake up Naruto. Oh if you are wondering what happened to the ninja from last night he ended up escaping and running off.

"NARUTO I HAVE ROMAN FOR YOU TO EAT." Shouting at him. He bolted right up with stares in his eyes and  drooling from his mouth.

"Where is the roman? Where is the roman?" He said while looking around the forest.

"I was lying to you so you could wake up. We need to go so hurry up and pack up." He suluted me and went to pack up his stuff or what was left of his stuff.

"The map says to go north." Sasuke said to everyone. We all headed out north and we where just following Sasuke since I decided that he should be the one to hold on to the map. After 2 hours of running through the forest I heard a grumbling coming from everyone's stomachs.

"You guys hungry?" Asking them with a smirk on my face. Just then my stomach growls. Blushing I sweat dropped. "Let's take a break and get some lunch since we skipped breakfast."

Naruto cheers and so does Sakura. "We will have to hunt for our food." Telling them.

"We can also pick Barrie's to eat too." Sakura chips in.

"Sakura you studied which Barrie's we can and can not eat right?" Sasuke asks her.

"I sure did. Now I am glad I studied up on that because it is coming in handy." She smiles.

"Ok good Naruto go with Sakura and find some Barrie's. While me and Sasuke go out and hunt for some food." And with that we all scattered and went our own ways.

Walking with Sasuke in the forest was annoying because he wouldn't talk. 'I am so bored!'

"Sasuke we should set up a trap so we can catch a bunny."

"Go on ahead and do that while I do my own thing." He said with an attitude.

"Fine I will catch my own food and you can catch your own food since you obviously don't know that we are all equals on this team. Why do you think you are so much better than everyone else?" Screaming at him. I finally broke and am now yelling at him. "I have had it with you and your attitude all the time!"

"It's none of your business as to why I am better. I have someone who I want to kill so I have to be better than everyone else. And I have to get stronger on my own."

"You and naruto are almost the same. He wants to be Hokage so he wants to get stronger by himself but he can't get stronger by himself he needs people to help him get stronger and you are no different then him. You are no different than anyone on this team. Everyone is trying to get stronger." I ranted to him.

He seemed to process what I just said and just walked away. Sticking my tongue out at his back. Muttering some  unpleasant words about him I continued to look for animals I can hunt down.
