"So I have a plan for us today," after Cal had finished singing with the boys last week, he had asked me to go on a date with him.

"I thought we were supposed to just go with it?" I replied, giggling at Calum.

"Not when you're officially going on a date with a girl you've fancied for weeks. I knew you were something special from the very first conversation we had. Therefore, I have to make our first date extremely special," Calum winked, causing me to blush. I had no idea that he had liked me back then.

"So what would these super special plans be, Mr. Hood?"

"It wouldn't be a surprise if I told you, Leigh," Cal bopped my nose, something we seemed to so a lot.

"Okay then," I took our hands and intertwined our fingers. It was so surreal how soft Calum's bassist hands were. Cal noticed me looking down at our hands and began to swing them back and forth, smiling down at me.

"Here we are!" Cal started to bounce on his toes as we headed into a frozen yogurt store. I looked at the rows of unhealthy, sugary, fattening dessert funnels before looking up at Calum.

"C-calum, do you have any idea how many calories and grams of sugar are in this stuff?" I began to suck in my stomach, hoping my layers of fat weren't visible through my tight fitting black shirt and black skater skirt, an average outfit for me.

"Yep," Cal smirked, "but it doesn't matter. Leigh, today I want you to let loose. Take risks, go out of your comfort zone, and have a ton of fun. Now lets go get some yogurt," Cal smiled and led me to the row of frozen yogurt pumps.

I took a small cup from the counter and added a little bit of chocolate fro-yo. Calum added mint-frozen yogurt and put on a topping of chocolate chips. "Seven thirty-eight," the cashier said, ringing up our orders. Calum paid for both of us.

"I'm not letting you pay. It's a date. I am going to pay. Now hop on, let's go," Cal bent down for me to jump on his back.

"Are you sure? i might be too heavy," I rested my cup on the table as Cal did the same.

"Jump on, Leigh. It'll be fun." I jumped up on Calum's back as he grabbed my thighs to hold me in place.

"Are you sure I'm not too heavy for you?" I asked, shifting my weight.

"Light as a feather," Calum handed me my frozen yogurt and picked up his. I wrapped my arms around his neck to secure myself from falling. "And you're finally taller than me," Calum laughed, earning a whack upside the head.

"Let's run away and spend the rest of forever with each other," Cal said before running off down the sidewalk, our loud laughter echoing through the streets.
